Haven't watched Dynamite yet, but had a look at the new team and these dudes definitely needed a video package before they showed up. They also look like a ready made squad for Marty Scrull for when he probably shows up in a couple of months, maybe that's why they are after Cody.

Jericho is wrestling Tanahashi at Wrestle Kingdom, so they might be looking to move the title off him before then as they might not what the optics of their world champion loosing at an NJPW show when they are on bad terms and won't get an angle out of it.

Given AEW is only once a week with the odd PPV, I'm sure he could fit it in. He's been wrestling for the last couple of years apparently, so he's already been making it work. Might even be easier now, since one would expect it'd be an exclusive deal (or at least limited outside appearances) with AEW.

 

Yeah, in NJPW's biggest show Of the year if Jericho was holding a belt the occasion would require the belt to be on the line, and the relationship between the two companies likely wouldn't allow that. Jericho kinda needs the win to be an ongoing asset to NJ, he's jobbed for three of their top guys and only really got the better of Evil. Tana can afford to take the L.

John Morrison signs multi-year contract with WWE

 

I know youre incapable of wnjoying anything that isnt WWE, but hopefully he gets to feud with Ricochet and rekindle the feud they had in Lucha Underground Season 1 (as Prince Puma and Johnny Mundo)

Their Iron Man match is a modern classic

 

A Morrison/Ricochet match would be awesome to see, IF he’s drafted to RAW

 

Styles/Nakamura should have taught everybody to check for previous matches between good wrestlers before they ended up on Raw/SD, because nothing that dudes get to do on a Vince show is going to be as good as what they might have already done on the likes of NJPW, NXT, LU, PWG, Stardom and so on.

 

I really miss those old days of Pro Wrestling when signings/debuts weren't announced like how it is nowdays. It's would be cool if Morrison either showed up unannounced or even as a special Rumble entry would've been better than this announcement. This reminds me of Shelton Benjamin's return where it was announced and that was all lol.
