Hound has a righteous beard, I think we can agree. But what is it made of?




It almost looks like little bits of metal twisted together, almost braided. The top pic above has colored bits- maybe the beard is just a bunch of wirey material, and he threads those beads or whatnot into it, like warpaint.

Maybe I should do that with my beard...

Im not prefer for Robots to looks like Human, Bearded and fat, that's unacceptable.. The 1st TF have the best looks design...got part of Audiences actually hate the movie because of ugly human looked. DOTM Que, AOE Hound, ROTF Jetfire was the worst design ever.

 

I mean, we've always had bearded and fat robots in Transformers.

 

Ya.. I hope future movie don't repeat the same mistake again.

I don't mind Robot Hair - it's been with the brand since G1 - but the Movies tended to comically overdo it (as was their way).

Honestly, it'd probably have served Hound's military hard^$$ image better if he'd had five o'clock rust instead, but that's just me.

It’s always reminded me of the shavings you get when you drill into metal.

The beard doesn’t bother me that much though. It suits this version of the character, especially with John Goodman voicing him.

 

TFP Bulkhead doesn't have a beard, just an underbite.
