BBTS has pushed the date back to December, I guess we all saw that coming. Hopefully December this year

I’m...actually kinda glad. Need to recoup after Aegis, MP-45 and FT-16M Sovereign.

This video should give you a good idea how big his box is. That’s me in the vid, I’m like 5’ 8” for comparison.

See this for the actual box size: Buying Transformers on Taobao
I was quoted an extra-large size by a seller (70cm x 50cm x 58cm) and that put me off for more than a year.

Wow, how did it work out with the moisture, was it ok when it dried out?

Moisture didn’t cause any issues. But later on in the day his shoulders seized up and I had the same stiff elbow joints most had in the first batch.

Used silicone on the shoulders and hips. Worked fine ever since. And I modded the elbows to free them up. Also worked fine ever since.

I'm hoping BBTS get it in before Xmas. This is supposed to be my present to open up with the kids on Christmas day

Anybody know someone inside BBTS so we can get the scoop of when this is arriving? I have some PayPal funds burning a hole in my e-wallet...

They also respond to email...at least they used to...the service@bigbadtoystore.com address.

Thanks to the delay, I ultimately decided I don't need this guy, as cool as he looks and as good as the price is. Preorder canceled. The 45 minutes of awe after opening it kinda regrets it...but everything after that probably thinks I made the right decision. I've been obsessing over getting a new, huge-ass TV for the last couple weeks, too...think I'll just put this money toward that and get WAY more use out of it.

I was going to do the same at first, because of the delay, but I've been itching to get him for a while now and dont want to pass up on this price. I'm actually taking a break from collecting after this and the 3 FT pre-orders I have. I'm probably going to sell most of my collection minus a few pieces soon.

That was my biggest issue with this guy. If/when I go to sell him, shipping is going to nearly wipe out most of what I could get back for him... Also, having just gotten Bumblebee and not really giving any shits about 2 minutes after transforming him, made me question why I should bother. I would love an hour with this set...but I really don't think I'd care after that. And that hour just isn't worth $200 to me. And it's definitely not worth the hassle trying to unload it whenever that day comes.

This is definitely one of the figs I would keep.

I am probably going to offload most of my Decepticons, Carbots, SS stuff, and 86 cast.

Oh, I've been dreaming for the day to get Gabriel of TG, but could never justify the second hand prices. Anytime I saw one for a good price it went too fast.

Omega is my favorite character next to OP and Jetfire. My first G1 restoration was Omega.

That's all you get out of a new figure? Wow. I mean I kinda' get that - as the collection has grown, each new one is less and less of a big deal and they become just another figure on the shelf after that first half hour or so, but they're still pretty damn awesome on the shelf. I look over my display every day and every time it makes me happy. At least once every couple of weeks I'll grab a figure and reposition them a little and I'll occasionally grab one to fiddle with while watching a movie or whatever. The idea of only enjoying a figure for a few minutes and then not caring any more just makes me sad.

Damn. When you guys quit collecting, you really quit collecting. I'm hoping to quit in the not too distant future (still a dozen or so characters I need) but I'm keeping all of them. Until I die unless I need to get rid of them for a financial crisis or something. In fact, my current plans are centered around getting a bigger and nicer display case for them so they're not so crowded and are easier to enjoy.

Yeah, my toy room is a bit of a disaster right now as I'm trying to unload my Generations collection so that's piled up in the middle of the room along with a collection of saved boxes from random Amazon orders for shipping the shit out. When it's in order, I like stepping in there and admiring the collection. But I'm overdue for listing more figures. When I get a new figure, though, I really don't get a whole lot out of it anymore...which is why I'm relieved I only have two figures left to complete my goal.

I plan to keep my MP collection around for the foreseeable future, but I don't have a good spot for Omega Supreme and he's fackin' huge so I can envision wanting to unload him if he's just sitting on the floor taking up space instead of being 'displayed'... He's also just outside of my collection goal so he wasn't necessary anyhow...he just looks really cool and the price was super reasonable for such a figure.

Ive actually got into a funk lately and looking at my figs I realize the hobby is kind of bringing me down. I bought a bunch of figs over the years I thought I wanted and looking at my collection I can get rid of probably 80% of it. Im not putting my collecting in front of my bills, but looking at some of the figs I've picked up. I see other stuff I could have spent the money on that would have been put to more use. The character has no significance to me.

Yeah, that makes sense. I have a few toys that I'm like, "why did I buy that?" None of them are MPs though, which is my primary collection. I collect MP and Legends and otherwise I've got an odd smattering. It's the ones in the smattering that I sometimes wonder what was I thinking.
