just ordered mine from HLJ. arriving next week still one copy left on their website if anyone's interested.
It was pretty solid! Joints are nice and stiff, but not overly stiff. Gotta love that they included those packs with the bike. Wished they would have with Stig's and Ray's. But oh well. The only thing that kept popping off was the shoulder piece of the armor on the figure itself. Nothing that was bad or anything. I'm sure it was because it was something I was doing
Ah yes that piece still seems to pop off. Luckily a little floor polish on that ball joint seems to keep it on much better.
Not too worried about it to be honest. The only times it popped off was when I was transforming it from bike to armor and back. I just had parts in the way that ran up against it and...there it went. Can't really help that. They do stay on just fine otherwise.
Delivered to my office today, only problem is the office was closed and the driver says it was signed for by me (clearly not my signature). Now I get to wonder until Monday if someone was actually in the office today to get get it or if it was mid- delivered.
Got mine but admiring GX-88 first. Why did they both have to arrive close together?! Sensory overload... lol
Got my Blowsperior, and played around a little last night. I have the first release of Stick and Rey, so I havent got to experience the tolerance fixes of the reissues. Pleased to see the new, very secure ankle guards, and improved ball joints of the forearm armor piston arms. But dammit, the sliding pistons are still too tight. Trying to move the arm will still un peg the diecast joint from the body, or pop off the ball joints. Sigh...guess I'll need to loosen them again. Oh, and watch out for the windscreen. That part doesn't slide in as far as the Mospeada's. I popped mine off the, very small, tabs that hold it on, and will need to reglue it. Despite that, however, still a very nice solid release. If you like the first 2, you'll like this one as well. Overall, the Blowsperior does feel a little more "refined" or sturdy, or whatever than my first 2 releases. Can't wait for the Bartley!
Just took it out and swapped heads... dang it, I popped the entire neck off the body. Talk about being held in tightly. Trying to put the head on was a PITA and as expected, almost no articulation for the head (despite using a double end ball joints). But looks good standing next to the bike.
Messed around with my Blowsperior a little more today, this time with Rey to compare. The former definitely has improved tolerances all around. The front end of the Mospeada in bike mode seems to hold together just a little better, but that could just be my particular figures. Really cool to have them together, and so nice to finally have a good Blowsperior.
