Just got my GX-88. I am in love. An equal partner for GX-71. It's that good.

So to people who got this earlier, is there a better way to insert/remove the whip and long spear? Just tried it out and that hand now has some scaring on the palm.

Not sure about the whip...but doesn't the long spear pull apart?

The spear tips pop off, leaving one to shove the handle into the palm. Meaning that like the whip the cone shaped parts are difficult to remove. Kind of thought the reviews were exaggerating how it was difficult, they were right.

It looked sketchy to me, so, I haven’t even attempted to do it myself. I rarely use any of the SOC accessories for fear of breaking them...lol...but I still dig the fact that most of these guys come with a box full of them. Go figure.

I am going to drop a Dairugger / Voltron back into the mix at BBTS.

Last chance for a 1,000 years.

Wait, what Mazinger is that in the back left? I'm in the market for a Chogokin style Mazinger that's more in scale with Dairugger/GoLion/GodMars. I have the 01-R, and he's just not in proper scale with the rest of my Chogokins.

Those are the DX Mazingers. Oh man how I want the Great Mazinger version he has but I just don’t want to pay the price.

Yeah, that’s what I hear so if I just get one, it’ll be Great Mazinger. Just so pricey and then the shipping from Japan I bet will hurt on top of the price of the figure.

Yes, the shipping cost from Japan is a lot because it’s big and heavy. Mandarake has several at 46k yen + 11k yen shipping.

Yeah, I’ve been eyeing the ones at Mandarake and Jungle. Just haven’t pulled the trigger. Considering how much I spend on other, much lesser toys, I should just do it.

Ok, looking for this online and the prices seem a bit......high. I'm guessing the window for this long since passed.

The prices are actually around original MSRP or even less depending where you look. It’s just a tough price to swallow but I can tell it’s worth it even though I don’t own one.
