Got both Blackarachnia & Bumblebee 2.0 a few minutes ago. Can't look at them now, have to go to work.  

Kudos to DHL tho, raining cats & dogs here, they left my packages on my porch which had a roof, but they had both boxes wrapped up in a giant plastic bag to protect them. Thanks DHL, for going that extra little bit.  

 

yeah definitely used to cheaper prices, never used anime export, how do they work? How much was the shipping to the UK?

 

Got my copy in from AJ today. I like the sculpt, but it's finicky as hell and the tolerances are all over the place. Most of the joints are too tight, especially the ankles, but the spider legs are the worst. They are so loose that two of mine fall out if you rotate the figure too much.

Pretty disappointed overall. I'll fix it up, pose it and neve touch it again.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are the only locks for the robot legs in spider mode those two tabs which slide jnto her knees?

I'm finding all the little locks, but I'm just not enjoying this thing. It's definitely a display piece- the robot mode looks superb, but handling it is not fun really.

 

As I've already said that includes shipping. AE give a 30% discount in Transformers pre-orders charge you up front (so you paid at time of pre-order) and them charge you shipping when its ready to ship. They mark down the value on the shipping declaration (usually just the cost of shipping and not the value of the figure) and ship in unbranded boxes so you'll almost never get stung for customs... which you will do from almost everyone else, especially at the prices we are paying now. They are for my money the cheapest Japanese retailer for UK collectors but recently 'domestic' retailer TFS-Express have started coming in pretty close to their prices.

 

I got a call from DHL... I have to wait until Friday. I forgot that I set up my PO BOX as the delivery address.
