Nice, I like they put the heads forward to get that "I'm made of a separate guy". Hiding his key feature loses that.

Like Poseidon, they worked hard to make exposed plugs and ports blend in with the organic details. I love that.

Also enjoyed the "there's your arm mode".

Call me crazy, but I really like these for alt mode to go with the TFC Seacons and to also hopefully blend well with the Cang Toys Predacons.

I have the UT set for bots, but I am hoping that FT or ZT will take a shot at Abominus as well for a 20" modern scale combiner.

3 sets of the Terrorcons FTW.

Hmmm. Leg mode doesn't seem as compact/solid compared to Poseidon's limbs. Also, I hate that the necks/heads don't peg anywhere in leg mode, but "just hang there". Honestly seems kinda lazy. "Where will we put the heads?" "Eh, just flip 'em over thataway".

Do these cost less that the Seacons? They seem to have half the amount of parts/plastic, considering Poseidon's feet and each limb being a quin-changer.

I've seen them for 85 dollars on baba in ebay. So that's like more than current prices, less than the seacons previous price? That last part is speculative. Dont know the original prices

Poseidon is still going for retail price 2 years after the last bot's release. I don't know about deals but I'm pretty sure he won't be disappearing any time soon.

    Sigh
I went ahead and purchased Sinnertwin. While I love TFC's Piranacon and the Seacons, there's something about Abominus that doesn't inspire me enough. But I'm not sure what it is. I love the more organic look of their Seacons and the few liberties they took in translating the original toy into modern times. I thought I wanted an Abominus under the same circumstances, but the more I look at the few pics released, the less I am convinced of it. Scramble city would be awesome, but Sinnertwin just erased that hope. Like UT's Ordin, Cutthroat is an arm instead of a leg. I am one that prefers Cutthroat as a leg. It adds to the uniqueness of Abominus. I mean, Predaking mastered the use of the wings. Why does every combiner with a winged creature (Monstructor and Dinobot combiners) have to place that character as an arm? Or, much worse, place the wings on the back of the combiner. Again, Predaking mastered that - let's be different! It's the only thing I don't like about SnapTrap/Piranacon having double cannons on his back - that's an Onslaught/Bruticus trait.
I'm not crazy about Rippersnapper looking too much like their Overbite.

But for some reason I like this version of Sinnertwin. I like his limb mode. And I prefer to give this guy a chance more than UT's Ordin. I don't regret my purchase of Sinnertwin. I just hope I don't end up regretting going with this guy for my Abominus.

And.....here's hoping that at least only Blot and Cutthroat are scramble city so we can choose for ourselves who we prefer as an arm and leg.

I typically use the, will it sell out quickly, litmus test when deciding if I can hold off on purchasing limbs for a combiner. With nearly anything Fanstoys you're better off buying now and then selling later. With TFC... I'd wager you're safe waiting on this set until at least a few limbs are on the market.

I've always wanted the Terrorcons, so I am willing to take a risk. Now if it later turns out that some bots in the set are shitty, I'll just do a mix of UT and TFC if necessary. I had UT Blot and thought it was outstanding, however I later sold it after seeing their Rippersnapper.

I admit, Poseidon's hands were far from the best. No spread, equal length digits, not storage, or alternate use.
Maybe they'll do better this time.

One can hope... I mean, Hercules had hand storage in vehicle modes (not great, but serviceable)... and didn't Hades have integrated feet?
They CAN do it... but will they?

Hey waitaminute... Maybe the add-on kit for this set will be one that gives a toon/toy option, different color combiner head along with kobble (I'm coining a term, combiner kibble = kobble) to make him scramble-capable. "Wing of Satan" upgrade kit.

Just got this guy, I like him much more than UT, as the UT set has really shitty joint hardware and plastic feel (imo). This feels well thought out and polished. I have high hopes for this set.

Is it possible to flip the feet so you don't have to have the beastwars style claw feet and just have him have regular robot feet instead?
