Is it just me or does tfsources black friday deals get worse every year? All masterpiece and mmc insecticons which i believe were $5 cheaper during fall sale? Or is this just the monday sales and be different tomorrow?

 

Yeah TF Source's Black Friday prices are a joke. And BBTS didn't even add anything this week.

 

After the shit some members went through last year with these guys, I'd highly recommend avoiding them altogether.

 

Yeah, after everything that happened with them during last year's sale, i'm not risking buying or trying to buy anything from them ever again.

 

The only thing impressive from TFsource last year was Maketoys Quantron/Computron for $100. Maybe I'll jump on board this time if they offer the set at the same price again.

 

I didn't even jump at that. I kept hoping for some MMC, Fansproject, or other 3rd party figure I had an eye on...but nope. I didn't want to commit to anything on ebay or board member sales until I saw all that was listed. BBTS shot themselves in the foot not listing anything new there. I am not looking their for sales this week.

 

TF Source did manage to have some better deals today. Nothing that I really needed though.

 

the dinobots fansproject stuff is tempting...but I'd never find the snarl for the set now. Plus, I am pretty happy with the planetX line.

 

That's my plan, anyway.

I bought the FP Sludge since I was already buying Devil Stinger. For $30, that's like Hasbro Voyager price, or near enough.

 

If anyone bought FP Grimlock would they be willing to sell his mini robot partner?

 

Hmm... I might be in for Snarl or Slag if it's at a good price.

 

unfortunately...tfsource has been long sold out of both of those. BBTS still has Slag for $65. And now fansproject is closing their webstore so can't order direct from them now.  

 

Hate to be a Darrel downer but I'm pretty underwhelmed this year. I'm hoping for a strong Cyber Monday!

 

AS I said...4 of the FP dinos are the only thing I was remotely interested in so far. Nothing on BBTS was even remotely interesting. And while yes the Sludge FP was voyager scale priced...it just not a figure I have to have. I love the dinobots but if I can't complete the set...the 2 fems would fit in my all female crew + Obsidian crew with the MMC fems but...not for $40 each. Really was hoping like a sale on the eagle half of Skylynx MMC...or MMC Roller. Maybe even Takara Legends Greatshot...the big blue Convoy is almost at a fair price...for $50 I would buy.

 

wow EE only has 1 transformers item for black friday...wave 3 deluxe siege for $58...not much of a deal since brunt, red alert, and hound have all been discounted for being peg warmers.
