My copy from Kapow just arrived (my Amazon JP copy should be here at the end of the week). Pin included, which was a nice surprise even if I don't really care about the pins or coins:

    coin.jpg

Although I'm supposed to be putting my final production copy away for Christmas, I figured I'd give him the once over. :)  No real issues, although, as I do find getting everything lined up perfectly in alt mode a little awkward on my preproduction copy, I had been looking forward to seeing how everything was lined up out of the box on a final copy. Er, well, it turned out, like this:

    car-front.jpg

    car-back.jpg

I guess the factory workers had even more problems lining him up than me. :D

The face is pretty good, although I wish they hadn't decided to plant a tiny smile on a mould that doesn't have a smile, putting the paint just below where it should go really:

    face.jpg

(They've basically stuck the smile on his lower slip rather than following the line of the mouth which you can see above it. You can see a couple of minor paint blemishes on the chest in the above picture, too, but nothing to complain too much about.)

    both.jpg

    Notes:
    - The legs still wobble, just like the preproduction copy, but again, it doesn't affect poseability.
    - The waist seems much looser than on my preproduction copy so that it sort of rotates freely.
    - I still can't quite fit the gun underneath the car so that it rolls, but it fits much better than on my early copy - all the wheels nearly touch the floor at least. Not great though.

I take back what I said before - I'm having problems getting the rear lights to sit flush on my release copy too. It's possible it just needs a few transforms to loosen things up, as it works fine with my earlier copy.

He just arrived (the pin is a nice bonus considering I collect these trinkets) and I have it say he’s a few steps forward and a few steps back.

Overall I think he’s an improvement over MP-21 ‘appearance’ wise both in bot and alt mode but the sacrifice to do so may be too much for some (very little to no waist swivel, exposed ‘pad’ feet that still makes balancing difficult for action poses, backpack from the side is even more kibbly and gappy than MP-21). It’s acceptable for the $85 that I paid for him.

    Some quick phone shots:

Just been playing around with mine and I'd pretty much echo your early impressions. The waist and thigh joints are really loose and floppy on mine like that video posted earlier, yet are still capable of holding a pose just fine. The knee swivel for transformation, shoulders and the neck ball joint are all SUPER tight though.

    20191126_135602.jpg
Mine also has the same extra plastic as yours on the back of all three faces that prevents them from sitting flush in the head, so I'll be filing that excess down later:

    20191126_134904.jpg

The paint is NEARLY perfect but for two areas, on his upper left of his bot chest, and a small line on his head crest. Both are really tiny and unnoticeable in person unless you get up real close. I'm not sure if I caused them in transformation, though I was trying to be careful. With macro mode on the camera makes them look huge though:

So far I'm happy though. The backpack and heels don't bother me so much, they're relatively in proportion to the rest of the figure. I get that the back is messy though. I'm not a designer though, and there's hardly any spare room back there, so I don't know what could've been altered to clean it up better at this scale:

Lastly here's a couple of shots, I don't have the rest of the Autobot to hand at the moment so here he is with XTB Aegis:

Can you guess the episode this pose is from? :D

Glad you're liking him over all! Nice pics.

Looks like they painted the mouth in the perfect spot on yours, rather than on his lower lip like they did on mine! :)

You could try rubbing at the mark on his head crest with a damp cloth. The head uses yellow plastic, so if it's a black mark (as it seems to be in the pictures), it might rub off. Mine had what I thought was a scratch in the window frame paint, but it turned out to be a bit of black paint which just rubbed away.

And I wouldn't sweat the scratches on the edges of the upper chest too much, as you're going to see that on nearly everyone's after a couple of transformations. I haven't worked out how to avoid it, because it's caused by squeezing the chest into the roof, which is tight. A dab of Tamiya Lemon Yellow will sort it out, though.

It's definitely worth a try! It's just quite tight there, but the bit of extra protection added by Future/Pledge might protect it.

I'm beginning to think the looser hips are by design for him and optimus as they both utilize the same "skirt" gimmick.

I'm in North Salt Lake, and my Bumblebee has been sitting in Cincinnati since noon yesterday. Hopefully it's moving without updating tracking.

Anybody having issues getting the gun to tab into his hand? I'm not sure what the issue is, whether the tab is too long or his hand is not right. Here's a pic if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks in advance! IMG_20191126_112219.jpg
