They do a Black Friday Sale, not sure how many "great" sales there will be. Usually it's stuff clogging up Inventory that isn't selling at all. HLJ has some legit sales though. But I remember the last Black Friday sales to be a tad lackluster. FansProject had a good sale on their website though, maybe it and Maketoys will have another.

Please someone stop me from buying the Bump of Chicken Bumblebee, I love them but that's damn expensive for a Legends-class

It’s expensive yes for a legends toy but I couldn’t resist. I missed out on that old unreleased deluxe Henkel classics blue Bumblebee (possibly KO) back in the day but this Bump of Chicken version fills that need nicely!

It's somewhat a mystery whether it was an unreleased Japanese Henkei (because of the chrome) or a knock-off. Personally I lean towards the first since I believe it was shown, along with another unreleased toy (Detritus or Swindle from Universe Hound) at a toy show. A couple of ebay auctions for the Blue Bumblebee popped up years ago, but I couldn't win one since they ended around $300-$400 (!)

I know Takara rereleased Devastator and Superion Unite Warriors sets. Does anyone know if they will be doing Guardian? (Defensor)

 

We haven't heard anything about it. It's been over a year since the Devastator and Superion reissues were announced.

The year before that there were a bunch of potential Legends reissues that Takara didn't do because they didn't get enough pre-orders.

 

  Do you recall which ones off the top of your head?

Guessing Dev and Superion reissues didn't have rockstar numbers since no reissues were announced in 2019?

 

LG-07 Jetfire, LG-13 Megatron, LG-31 Fortress Maximus, and LG-32 Chromedome reissues were canned in 2017.

But those were explicitly takarstomy mall reissues.

Devaststor and Superion were general retail in Japan, I believe. I was able to order the Devastator reissue from Amazon Japan for less than the ebay price of the Hasbro Devastator.

 

Damn, guess I'm never getting Defernsor.   (I got back into collecting during Titans Return)

 

Some of the ones on eBay are not much more than what US retailers were selling them for when it was first released.

 

I'm looking for the Unite Warriors set specifically. (Don't want Rook)

 

I hate telling someone to be patient because Primus knows I'm not, but at least don't give up hunting for Defensor. Especially here on the B/S/T section. I managed to get Unite Warriors Cyclonus (the only one I wanted out of the whole set) after like a year and a half of hunting.

 

I know. That’s what I’m talking about. I got mine for $168 shipped new in package from Japan, but it seems the seller has raised the price since last month to $306!
