Transform Element is so good at making clean bot modes. i remember TE-01 barely looked like it could transform at first either. i hope this guy comes with a Ravage included

 

Technically less. The hips are too far apart and the hip armor is way larger than it should be. It looks cleaner, tho not exactly more accurate.

Maybe. I don't see any wheels or tracks which rules out the IDW style tank/vehicle mode. There's no real obvious vehicle kibble at all in fact. But an earth style tape deck really makes very little sense on a pre-earth Cybertronian design.
I'm guessing some kind of boxy, random "tech device" which will no doubt be described in the manual/box as a communications or data storage device, and vaguely resembles a tape player but "woohoo sci-fi" upgraded.
I mean most of the other characters basically just had "super sci-fi upgraded" versions of their G1 alts so this will be the same.
I vaguely recall Ravage appearing in the movie but I don't think he did the whole popping out of Soundwaves chest thing, so technically that idea's not even canonically required for the design. I fully expect it to still happen that way of course. Edit: Nope. I was wrong!! See below

Honestly, with all of these Knightverse figures being only OK, I'd forego my usual statue complaining and accept nonTF figures.

They'd need to be MP scaled. I think im out on OS scale, as far as Bumblebee is concerned.

 

So are the choices for altmode Cybertronian seeker or cybertronian truck? I have to say given the movie seekers had different bodies he seems more like a mini utility truck like Cup or huffer

Black Mamba and Transform Element are part of the same company so chances are that is TE's Soundwave being sold under their new Mechanical Alliance SX line.

No less sense than Soundwave turning into a humanoid robot, Ravage turning into a mammalian quadruped, Cybertronian alt modes that look suspiciously like Earth vehicles, mass shifting, Transformers speaking English, and like 90% of everything else that goes on in the Transformers universe. The whole property has always been bonkers with nonsense and that’s one reason I love it.
