I am new to this thread so maybe somebody already mentioned this. I just noticed from which mold Tentakil is retooled or got her engineering or whatever you wanna call it. But she definitely does parts and engineering sharing.
If you look at the middle of her cannon mode just after her yellow eyes there's a white flat part with a hinch on each end and a peg for a Titan or Prime Master ontop.
This part is from the PotP Moonracer mold. Just look below her belly.
That's the connecting piece to her backpack for robot mode.
And when you look from the hips on downwards you see all the shared Engineering and some more parts sharing.

Welcome, and yes. We've known for a while that Tenta-Kill will be making use of the Moonracer mold.

Pledge Future is practically a requirement on ball joints. It will fix almost any tolerance issue with loose joints.

sonic bomber is actually more a remold of misfires version of the mold than triggerhappy due to how the front of the jet transforms

Which I think is his point. He intentionally picked a less similar retooling.

Not gonna lie, if I had the money, I'd probably get a second Big Powered just because I love the individual robots so much, but I also love the vehicle combined mode which is how mine is displayed.

Yeah. Sonic Bomber is a remold of Misfire who is a remold of Triggerhappy. Tentakil has just as much in common as the female Autobots he’s remolded from.

I'm sorry, I just don't consider a toy that shares, like, thighs, a couple of connector pieces, and some minor engineering as a "remold". It's a new toy with some minor cost-cutting. TR Scourge, Windblade, and Highbrow are 3 different toys. They are all clearly different play experiences.

Generations 2020 shows that the individual guns can all combine.

Is there a picture somewhere we can see? Because there's a big difference between these two sets of combining weapons.

It's more like Baldigus and Computron's.

It is indeed. It's a nice set, imperfect, but nice. The hips/pelvis design is a bit off, proportions are a bit wonky, but it's really a nice set and well worth the sale price of $250-300.00

I'd like to see what Has/Tak has lined up for Monstructor, but I guarantee it won't be in that scale, it'll be a Micromaster like the original. (I'm fine with that. This one is definitely CHUG sized.)

...the original pretender monsters were not micromasters, but their inner robots were very small for mainline figures in order to fit within their rubber shells...

Regardless they'll be small, most likely.

Monstructor should be remolded from the Terrorcons. And as they would no longer be Pretenders, their team name would be Monstercons.

Scowl, Slog and Icepick would be remolded from Blot
Wildfly would be repainted from Cutthroat with the unused Wildfly head
Bristleback and Birdbrain would be remolded from Sinnertwin

Since the original Monstructor was made up of six components, there has to be some changes. Bristleback and Birdbrain would now form the feet to Monstructor, making the smallest G1 combiner the third largest of the modern combiners after Predaking and Devastator. And the torso would be Hydrax, a straight repaint of Hun-Grrr, based on the unreleased Prime Bot Shots Hydrax who would have shared a mold with Prime Hun-Grrr. 6BA3A0A2-2FCC-40C1-8E37-E9D4BF43FBE4.jpeg

Or instead of Hydrax, the torso would be Bristleback repainted from Turtler, representing his Pretender shell.
