I like the look of Devastator so far, but from all of these I just can\'t get behind their other modes, especially robot modes. All the robot modes look really off and inaccurate, and just not appealing. SS definitely got the individual robots way better.

I'd say that it's going to be original trilogy scale. Their aim is to be MPM scale but they're using MPM-4 as a scale guide. I go with the carbots as my MPM scale guide since they're better quality and there's more of them.

I think SS goes for robot accuracy with compromised combined mode. This does the opposite. I still think a full set of vehicle to combined mode constructicons would be the most screen accurate Devastator possible

All these figures look great in their robot mode. I would like to get them all with no intention to combine. But unfortunately the price is too steep.

With how massive Devastator is this should actually work better with SS than the official

You mean Movie-HFTD scale, right? DOTM definitely did not have the same scale as ROTF :p

Anyway I wish that scale point would see more 3P figures like Firage. No cool if the only thing in trilogy scale are Autobot cars, Prime, and Decepticon cars. What about Brawl, Bonecrusher, Blackout, Soundwave, the Dreads, etc.?

Touché. Even though DOTM did have some of the original scale still. I would be happy if more figures came out in that scale too but I know it's a dream. An inscale Jetfire or scavenger would be huge even in studio series scale.

A 1/32 scale Soundwave and Dreads would be a dream! There are plenty of Brawls that fit the scale and DF Bonecrusher looks great next to ROTF leader Prime but I agree that it would great to see more :)

This Mixmaster seems to be about right, everyone else is much too small at the moment (shame as I'd love a good sized longhaul)... hopefully Scrapper also fits, his vehicle mode would only need to be a little larger than MM.

Not so impressed with most of them but that Scrapper looks pretty badass, even just as a stand-alone toy.

Knowing these are (roughly) MP scale does make me at least a little intrigued, although I'm pretty sure one of the 4th party companies will do improved OSKOs of the Studio Series set for a fraction of the cost

Also, some of these mining vehicles are MASSIVE in real life... my guess is they aren't all in the same scale, internally, and at least some of the larger vehicles are scaled to Studio Series

For sure, once Hasbro finishes off their set I to am positive we will see the inevitable KO OS of theirs as well. It's nice to have options.

I think I'm officially dropped out of getting the set based on the price and Scrapper here. Everything is just so wrong about him

I'll see what they do with Rampage because I want him and a Demolishor most

Don't think we've gotten a price estimate for the set as a whole yet, and pics for demolisher/scavenger are already out and have been for a while.

Tbh, scrapper is actually the weakest of the constructicons, but its clearly evident that what devil savior is trying to go for is an extremely accurate combined form.

Lets just hope the "wrecking balls" actually come with Hightower, since there's no indication that they came with overload.

They are really in a hurry to get this out before the much cheaper SS toys arrive, aren\'t they? :D
How big will these be, anyway? I have yet to see them compared with non-third party toys whose size I actually know.
The harpoons look nice (did he have them in the movie? I only recall the hand turning into a ball and chain mace) but the robot chest and head don\'t look great, and the rear wheels seem to have been sacrificed for the arm mode to not even roll. Didn\'t the alt mode have 6 wheels, btw?
I just wanted to ask about the price... WTF? 1000$???
And will theirs have 8 figures too? 'Cause until the SS toy introduced Scrapmetal he was never really a thing other than some art designs.

I have 4 of them and they are awesome. Love transforming them, they are a lot of fun and cleverly designed, especially Rampage and Long Haul.
And this is coming from me, who frankly hates most Bayformers designs. But I had a soft spot for movie Devastator from the get-go, I have the Legion toy who is amazing.
