Is volatile back to having light grey wheels? I thought they had changed that?

I feel like some silver on the blue bits around the chest wings would help with the cartoon look and give a bit more of a 'V' shape to the torso, and I think they're only on display in combined mode.

And wish the legs could've been grey. But this is looking brilliant overall!!

What was the point of being an all in one combiner if they have a feet add on set

 

well you don't have to buy the add on kit if you don't want it

 

He’s impressive but this add on kit should come with the last bot with no extra charge. It’s about fan options and delivering the best bruticus to date. I’m beyond supporting sketchy business tactics. We already pay high prices for these bots. Now let’s see if he can pose without falling over.

 

Colors look great aside from Brawl. Proportions and greebles/visible panel/hinge gaps not so much.

 

Uhm maybe it's only a perspective trick but the disproportion between the two legs gives me an Elephant Man vibe.

 

REALLY nice proportions on this guy. I'm debating replacing the UT Swindle and Brawl (I'm already in for vortex and blast off for my robot mode combaticons), and picking up MMC's Onslaught (I still don't know whether I'll get him or another Zeta Blitzkrieg), just so I have the option of combining these guys, even though Zeta is staying my MP Bruticus.

 

I always like the idea of self contained gimmicks, and if the price for the whole set is reasonable, I would like to add him in my collection.

 

The Add On set is optional, so you can choose not to purchase it, and carry on with your all in one, as per the pic shown which doesnt use it...

I wish i could see it, but the angle of the pic doesnt make it obvious to my eyes. I remember this was my very feeling when i combined the Iron Factory Bruticus, and didnt like that at all. Maybe if the picture showed the two legs straight, but... honestly, i think i would pose exactly like Hardreturn has shown, and not bother doing straight A Stance.

Yeah. I agree. The upper part of the chest shield needs some silver. Actually I would love to see this figure with an all-silver torso shield. He'd probably look great!

 

I recommend you to buy both! Poseidon is amazing! The longer thighs on Assaultus make him look a lot better than the competition.

I wish he had a better sculpted treads, wheels and rollers too.

I really want to dump mine if I could, but I think I will keep it just for the sake of having at least one torsoforming combiner.

 

a few notes
1. brawl's color is correct to my recollection of the g1 cartoon...his treads/wheels don't look very good but i guess it matches the toyishness of fraudo's alt mode...i mean that sterrign whel thats a solid piece with just spoke like moldings is cheap and toy looking too, so realistic-ish alt modes (again see fraudo) dont' seem to be too huge a concern for alex kuballksy's designs in this set (impetus aside?).
2. combined mode looks better than i thought it would with its mix a toy onslaught blues (although imporved from g1 toy colors in my opinion), cartoon chest plate. i still think the shouldres are way too high over the head but i'v eknown that since the beginning. also brawl's brutifoot looks small because that turret is huge! is that accurate? haha.
3. can we see an in hand comparo of this combined mode with the toy accuracy add on parts combined mode side by side? pretty please?

 

They make a boxed set in RID Ruination colors and im in on this mold!
