I\'m so torn on starscream. I think I really need to see reviews/ in hand first before I go all in on another round of seekers. Starscream my fav character so I\'ll probably get this guy, but the articulation on the legs looks weak and I can\'t tell if the proportions are going to look right in person. The hip panel doesn\'t look like it moves which means the legs won\'t be able to move forward too far, and the lack of the butterfly really hurts it for me. It looks so much more dynamic when you can have starscream or any seeker pointing atleast at a little bit of an angle, instead of just straight out to the side.

So, by way of the packaging it appears that Astro train WILL launch under the Siege line. Do you think we\'ll see it on store shelves before the holidays are thru then?

Sooo tempted by that Starscream, but I rather like my tetrajet one. Guess I\'ll wait and see.
The more I see that Grapple, the more of a definate-buy it becomes! It\'d have to have some major flaws to put me off, and I\'ll probably get an Inferno aswell, it looks that good.
Still not 100% on the Astrotrain. Not sure what it is, but it\'s gotta be one of the best looking versions of the character.

What makes you think the clearly hinged hip panel won't move?

    It's likely.

It's also being launched initially during Siege then in Earthrise packaging as a casemate for Optimus

Becuase its most likely for the chest piece to hinge down to allow the arms to tuck in during transformation...like the deluxe.

Edit: of course I say that and now I look at the top of the plane mode which also seems to have a hinge which would be closer to how the deluxe transformed so I don't know

Did anyone else notice that the packaging art for starscream is using the siege design?

my opinion might change but from images alone i think er scream will have the best sculpt /silhouette of any official g1-esq starscream but will be an incredible stepdown in terms of articulation

Just wanted to pop in and say I CAN’T WAIT for this guy to get released! I think even with slightly reduced articulation (in comparison to Siege Scream) he’ll still be a home run.

He’s currently my most anticipated ER voyager.

Could be wrong but it looks like that hinge is actually for the chest/torso section to move down for transformation. Not the hip piece itself so it wouldn’t move.

Not new information that this figure is an upside of Classics Starscream but they’ve made no comment about improved articulation. Those legs won’t be going any higher than 90 and even then maybe not that. I haven’t handled this mold for nearly 8 or 9 years.

Re-releasing G1 Starscream this year was not a celebration, it was a market test. The final chapter will be

    War For Cybertron: Diaclone

They should have something more solid Earth but I still don’t see why Earth is even a thing in a Cybertron themed line. Still pissed they’ve ditched it so early on.
