Digging the transformation of Earthrise Prime, will likely get him just for the (re)addition of matrix gimmick. Had the PoTP Leader Prime just for that gimmick over the evolution one haha...

i know he has fired himself before but that makes him needing to be held by someone in multiple occasions pointless and yes i know he’s been held by more characters then just starscream, heck even optimus got to blow one of megatron’s loads
I was just trying to make a point

Because I’m not sure he is correctly colored.
If he comes out and has the correct hands I’ll buy him, if not, then I have no desire to pay $50 for what is essentially a voyager with a large accessory.

I know, price point Not size!

Ive never really cared about Primes trailer.
I’ll just keep my Siege Version in my display and see if the next version is worth getting. Who knows, maybe they’ll release the figure without the trailer with better colors later.

Not really digging the crouch or hips to be honest.

I certain nearly everyone here knows where those images have come from; Tonton's reviews are well known enough to the point in which you can just look at an image and tell if it's from one of his reviews.

Seriously, TFW news staff is awful about this, screencapping a video review and presenting the images, implicitly, as theirs. “We have new pictures of ER Prime” Excuse me, who’s “We” in this equation?

If the first batch of Classics / Generations reflected the designs of Earthrise like 15 years ago, I never would have collected Masterpiece.

It’s easier for kids to get a hold of a real gun than a Megatron that becomes a gun.

I’d like a box-set of these Deluxe and Voyager toys repainted without their “Leader class” vehicle mode accessories. Except for those that look terrible without them.

Anyone hoping that Hasbro will make a gun Megatron will never happen, especially with the anti-gun culture that is happening now.  People are having a cow when kids eat their Pop Tarts into guns or making drawings of guns.  Collectors now will have to make do with the expensive original toys that are still floating around or the reissues that Japan spits out every once in awhile.  As for this Optimus toy, I bet this will be very hard to find at retail, especially if they release this before Xmas.  They\'ve already releasing the Earth Rise toys early already, so I can see them releasing this right around Xmas.

I don’t think most people are deluded enough to think Hasbro will make a gun Megatron, but I do think it’s a possibility Takara might. I mean, this is basically the definitive G1 Optimus Prime at mainline scale, so I could see Takara making a Megatron to pair with him. If it had articulation comparable to Siege Megs, we basically would never need a mainline scaled gun Megatron ever again.

How is this inappropriate when guns of the same size that do not transform into a robot mode are appropriate? The toy below is not a licensed product but does have faux realistic styling. What about a Battle Master sized Megatron that transforms into a gun of a similar shape to his original toy but with unrealistic detailing?

You said it yourself, that megatron is UNLICENSED and therefore not subject to the same requirements as an official hasbro product. There are state laws in the USA that prohibit the sale of certain types of toy guns in specific states. If hasbro cannot sell a figure in all 50 states then they won’t make it

I didn't know, and I'm glad that the source was stated. It's worse because on the front page no one sees that, so TFW takes the credit if you aren't a member of the forums.

Pretty sure that is a licensed product. Isn't that RTS legends Megatron?

It totally is I have it at home and it’s a blast to have old chunky leader class toys hold it awkwardly

Yeah, that's a real Hasbro product.
