That's the point. I don't like the Bayverse aesthetic that much either, but there are a couple of gems here and there that make the deformed, impractical style work. Devastator being one. He's an ugly spud and he's going to be my collection's "Monstructor" style prototype combiner.

 

Ok it's not just me. I could have sworn Hightower was always the left arm but the last couple showings hes been on the right. Thought I was crazy

 

I was originally excited for this thing and it got me into the SS Series, but Im no longer thrilled w this thing.

ill patiently wait to see what this looks like in its final form and its ability to display as a quadraped as he was in the movie.

The drum looks like it's supposed to sit inside the neck. Mixmasters limbs will probably spread out more in the correct transformation allowing it to tab in.

It does beg the question of who the hat is going to come with.

Man he's ugly. I love it. I do hope the drum can be positioned so it looks less like a hat though. He will be mine!

 

I wonder what else they were doing with blue and purple that made those the immediately available plastic colors for prototyping.

 

With those 2 still in prototype form, I think we will not see the full colored or finished forms till maybe Toy Fair.

That being said Im about to mimic everyone here. He actually looks better here. better/more photos on top of him having his proper posture make all the difference.

once we have a proper image of the whole thing done properly whether its a CG render or an actual production sample of all of them, i think it's gonna look great.

 

For the record the only reason the drum looks like a hat is because it’s blue. Once it’s the same color as mixmaster it should look much better.

 

Looking better. Still not quite right, but my faith in supporting this so far has been restored. Good thing since I'm four figures deep already.

 

when you say 12 inches, i'm going to assume you mean the top of his hunchback, his highest actual point, rather than the top of his head. correct?

 

the drum isn't even in the proper location. There's a tab which is supposed to tab into a spot, which it doesn't do. And it's also sitting much higher than it probably should be
