Finally caved and bought him, at 60% Price! :D

He really is worth it! The armor add-on looks good while it might not be everyone's cup of tea, and even stand alone, Shockie looks.... shocking!

The transformation is also easy enough that you don't need the instruction, even the add-on has hint on where to attach it! I especially love the leg transformation.
    I'm glad I bought him <3

You are lucky, mine comes with left leg glued!, so now I will have to do some gunpla work for it to be transformable, stills an splendid figure for $30 but this is the second time having issues with siege series, first was Omega Supreme with two left tracks

Aside from the post above, anyone's Shockwave has other QC issues? Mine has a loose right arm mushroom peg which I fixed using nail polish, and a loose ratchet hip which I also fixed by putting paper to make the ratchet pieces closer together (the ratchet piece in the hip was deformed and it didn't "touch" with the ones in the leg before).

I dont know if it's QC or not, but the hose's peg is loose in some port, while it's overly tight in other port. It's loose in a sense that you can plug it in without any resistance, but it'll stay until you pull it.
The tight one makes you fear that you're going to break the rubber by pulling it out.

I have to admit that I got this guy from "special connection". And maybe that's why the QC issues are there and I don't feel satisfied. But looking over the thread with members who paid legitimately for the guy and still has QC issues, I don't know if I'm gonna be any happier if I had paid for him MISB.

wow. So, i popped on this guy on Amazon for $29.99, and dang, i cannot imagine how anyone can feel good paying full price,
i honestly feel i paid at least $5 too much. I knew he was small, but i wasn't quite prepared for HOW small.
After binning all the excess nonsense he's packed with, he's not much taller and feels like he doesn't have significantly more mass then a Titan's Returns Deluxe.

He does have superb articulation, and beautiful colors, and it seems all his battle damage was limited to the dumb extra parts.
the design is really nice, and i'm glad to have a proper CHUG Shockwave at long last, even if he's a good 2" shorter then i'd prefer.
(wish he was TR Leader sized)

as my 2nd official Seige figure after Ratchet though, the over-detail is even more off-putting in person... it's so much i feel like it even givens him an unpleasant texture to hold... just feels.... bumpy in a weird way.

I would recommend him only if you can find him for $25 or under.

And Hasbro, if by chance your reading this, this whole "Voyager with extra junk equals Leader" thing's GOTTA stop.
(but please do Star Saber first)

So i'd rate him: B for design (lose the greebles and he's a solid A), D+ for size, and D- for value, F if you pay full price

If Hasbro just released Shockwave as a $30 Voyager, I think just about every negative would disappear. He would still be too small, just like all Siege figures, but worth the price.

My son loves having a Shockwave, but doesn't use the extra parts.

He's pretty good. But the extra parts that come with him are garbage that I have no use for.

I do like him, but fuck it - the cyber battalion is staying in my chug as I like his colors MUCH better and his yellow eye.

If you like the dark color scheme and light piping SIEGE shockers is very poseable and def a GOOD figure (putting aside the extra parts and price point).
My chug leans towards a toon feel, so that's why I'm leaving in the old one I had. I *almost* swapped them around, but nah. So he can go elsewhere.

Good news is he is usually on discount at 1/2 price or less on amazon - at that price totally worth it, even if you basically getting a deluxe figure and at least stuff scales relatively well in the SIEGE line.

Anyone have problems with the arms? The left arm won’t go straight down his body, it points away at an angle and when I push it down, it pops back out, like something is pushing it out at the shoulder.

I love this concept, and its really the only thing I want to do with all of his extra parts. However when i finally assembled it, the side shoulder/cannon/thingies are very loose...in fact, the whole hoverboard feels flimsy. Is this common, or are you all getting a fairly sturdy combo?

it's only an issue on later batches.
the early batches actually have pegs fitting so tight they feel like the ports may split from the pressure.

I think the initial batches were perfect.
the tight fit is scary, but after a year of attaching and detaching parts no stress marks have appeared yet.
