So I ended up ordering one from BBTS and thru a one thru local retailer, since I wasn't sure if BBTS was going to get enough. Since they did I have an extra, I am thinking about letting go for cost (ended up being $369.23 after tax) if anyone is interested.
Amazon just charged my card and preparing to ship. Be a few weeks before I see it. Hope it doesn't disappoint as it's a hefty price (~$600 CAD exchange, import and shipping).
In US? Which basically mean Dec 2 as it is Thanksgiving holiday. I haven't been charged yet and My last week preorder still show an estimated delivery date on Nov 27. The more I think about it, the more I believe the demand/popularity is not as huge as it seems. Amazon have it available for a long time now, although Amazon did charge taxes.
Received my shipped notification from Amazon. I usually just give stuff I receive in the last quarter of the year to my wife to wrap as presents for my birthday and Christmas. It's going to be hard not to open VV right away.
November 14... it sold out everywhere else months ago so I just figured it wasn't meant to be. Then it pops up for preorder on Amazon like on Nov. 10-11? I made it three days before caving in and ordering, lol. When I was a small kid, I got the rubber vehicle voltron for birthday one year from my mom and dad. I didn't care at all it wasn't the lions. Man I loved that thing. For better or worse, I did pass on GX-71 since I had a 25th anniversary Toynami one from 10 years ago I didn't feel the need to replace. GX-88 will be my first Vehicle Voltron of any sort since rubbery one I had like 30+ years ago.
Mine shipped today from BBTS, so I'll have it by Tuesday. Lucky for me since it's shipping to my office and we are closed after Tuesday for the rest of the week.
I'm a little upset. Amazon charged the full amount on my CC even though I had a giftcard balance of $275. I was on the phone for over an hour, and because the item shipped they can't take giftcard balance and refund $275 back to my CC. They said the problem could be I didn't have GC balance when I P.O. but that's B.S. because i did the same thing for Lion's and they toke the GC balance and charged the rest. So they refunded me back $100 because that's what I brought from the website the others was cards from a store.
They charged you $340, then refunded you $100. Did you still get to keep all of the $275 gift card balance in your account? If so, you got a crazy good deal. Although it kinda forced you to put $165 charges on your CC you weren't expecting.
Amazon was $362. My balance is $175 (- $100 from the $275 GC), I wasn't expecting to have the full amount charged off my CC. $362 is alot for me Lions,Mp44 and VV I use Amazon to monthly pay it off.
This kind of makes senses in terms of the order of shipping time. I ordered mine on Nov 13th and still see 'expecting on Nov 27th' although it may change from time to time.

1st world problem alert. Have to wait until Wednesday to hit ship on my BBTS pile. Don't some fluke of super quick shipping getting it here on Friday due to the holiday weekend. Don't want it sitting on the porch.
Glad you guys are finally getting your dairugger. Though a friend of mine is still waiting on theirs since the ordered from NY, which is really frustrating since they charge you for EMS but they made them wait almost a month
