Definitely! I’m surprised how much I enjoy this shockwave though. I never really liked how pricy it was before for what you got but then the alt mode was weird too. But it’s sort of grown onto me

I did want to see though, does your shockwave have a REALLY loose platform mode? (ie sticking the shoulder attachments onto the side to create his hovering platform?) I was reading that they made the peg holes slightly bigger than 5mm so those pieces tend to fall out. Mine does that.

 

Just picked up SS Ironhide, SS KSI Boss and Leader Galaxy Convoy for $63 at Target. These sales are nice.

 

Yea I felt the same way which was why i never got him when he came out. I had the Walgreens cyber battalion Shockwave for my display and even gave him knees but for $5 why not??!! And yes mine does have a loose platform mode as well. Maybe future could fix that a bit. Pretty good figure tho!!!

 

The funny thing though that I’m reading is that this IS the fix  . Apparently first runs had an issue with slightly smaller than 5mm peg holes that would snap the hose and pegs on the diff parts. So the reissue wave widened the peg holes.

Checked three Walmarts. South Irving, Las Colinas, and the one near 121 and glade. No dice on Astrotrain, Spinister or Crosshairs. Lots of Bluesteaks, And cell shaded Primes and Megatrons

 

Plano Walgreen's on Custer has four Ratchets left. They were sitting behind a Hound and Red Alert.

 

HIt two other Walmarts Yesterday in DFW. The two off precient line road in hurst. No dice on Astrotrain or the two new deluxes.

 

same here I hit a few Walmarts on the way home ystrdy. didnt see any new siege stuff. the stores I visited didnt even have any shelf space for anything new. i guess in anticipation for Black Friday/ Christmas theyve got everything else packed to the brim. there's no space for new transformers.

I saw those stupid PVC figures have returned also. seeing lots of g1 soundwave & cassettes. noticed many stores not putting up the 35th anniversary display. instead have everything loose in the tf section. I dont like that. just thrown everything in the aisle. looks tacky.

 

I was hoping to find Micromasters at Target to catch the end of the buy 2, get 1 free sale, but didn't see anything new in stores in Plano, Frisco and Allen. The bigger Dirt Cheap in Carrollton had some decent Lego SW sets at 40% off.

I found astrotrain at Walmart on the west side of Houston tdy. west oaks Walmart had one, bought it. one per case, repacked with ultra magnus (or shockwave)he is rather small for a leader. but they're out there. no new siege deluxe.

 

Just curious, was this in the typical Walmart toy aisle...or was it located toward the front in the seasonal toy/gift section?

I’ve noticed this past week Walmart’s stocking a lot of the Siege stuff in that Seasonal gift/toy section that is closer toward the main front of the store (closer to the cash registers than the toy section typically is).

 

it was in the toy section of the store (not at the front) in the action figure aisle, amongst all the other transformers toys.

I hit a few Walmarts along west belt today (royal oaks, 59 & bissonnette, westhiemer, & westview) in search of crosshairs & spinister. no luck at all. I didnt see another astrotrain either.

 

Picked up Siege Deluxe Crosshairs and Spinister at the Paseo Del Norte Walmart in El Paso. One Crosshairs left, no other Spinisters.

 

Someone on Twitter told me that toys r us is gonna open next Saturday
