Ok, Im genuinely not trying to be snarky, but what is the point if they aren't oversized? Arent most of Black Mambas SS KOs oversized? i know that we can expect diecast and better paint but not making them over-sized seems likes a wasted opportunity.
Also on Showz this is the same price as their Longhaul, despite Longhaul being far larger. I’d expect this to be less!
I see other stores have him priced the same as the other 2 constructions. Maybe it's a minimum they require to cover shipping and make it worth their time to package.
Still feel like I'm missing something. Are these somehow superior to Hasbro's? Typically Black Mamba is bigger with better paint (and occasionally some worthwhile re-enginering). If the paint is noticably better I'm not looking close enough (which is possible). Why get these?
I'm Buying them as they are cheap, and I can decide if I like the mould then if Hasbro make the rumoured Boxed set I can decided if I like them enough to chip in on that or not - or chase the Hasbro ones. Also I can keep one set combined and use the other one as individuals. Rampage is perfectly fine the only issues I can think to mention is I had to loose his waist screw to be able to move his Torso joint and his pistols seem to be stuck on and don't come off as best as I can tell. My Longhaul is in the mail so I should get him fairly soon and I ordered the 3rd one now too. I suspect the releases will slow now since they only have a couple more to do then they will be waiting on Hasbro to do the others to copy them - unless they managed to pinch the CAD files that is. I suspect the plan is to fill the time in with other Movie toys which is why the Dropkick release might be an indicator of the sort of thing they might do in the mean time. I do wish Wei Jiang would get in on this a bit more though as it would be nice if they made an upscaled Cogman for example : since they already upscaled the normal headmasters. There isn't as much of a common sense reason to buy 1-1 copies really - But I don't mind - I think it's interesting to have other options at least.
I'm pretty much just getting them as a cheap 2nd set to fiddle with while the official one stays in Devastator mode. I'd only do this for combiners though, so I'm glad Dropkick is OS.
Good thing about same size KO's, it could really help people out in case some of the Hasbro Constructions become rare/overpriced on the secondary market *coughLongHaul* and this gives another option to complete their Devastator.
