Yea, it's based on a graphic novel. Lot's of differences from the book to the movie.

I'm more in the camp of Cowboys and Aliens not being bad, but more or less not very exciting to watch. looked neat from the trailer, but the actual movie was kinda boring.

    Well, Episode 3 tomorrow!

I'm excited, because I legitimately have no idea what it'll be about. I kind of pieced together the plot of the first episode based on stuff from reviews. Which was fine, because it was mostly setup and had a fairly straightforward story. Episode 2 was a complete surprise, and 3 will be too. I can't wait to see how the story unfolds.

I would be thrilled if Favreau and Filoni ended up taking the reigns for the franchise moving forwards. I've got no issues with the direction of things currently but if you asked me to pick a dream pairing to helm things after the Skywalker saga wraps up then they would absolutely be it.

Wholeheartedly agreed. I like the current direction as well, but Filoni and Favreau definitely have all of the right stuff needed to bring balance back to the fandom.

I think they are. I've seen several articles over the past couple days saying Favreau, Filoni, and Feige are going to be major players in the future of Star Wars. Filoni already sounds like he is. Supposedly every story decision gets run through him. It seems pretty obvious they're gearing him up to make a live-action movie. I could see him taking over from Kathleen Kennedy when she retires.

I'm excited for the possibility of Jon and Dave taking the reigns, but I know for a fact that there's going to be hundreds of thousands of jerks on twitter and youtube blowing their load over Kathleen stepping down as if their change.org petitions actually caused it.

I'm assuming we get some kind of hint as to what the overarching plot is going to be, beyond the obvious 'Mando decides to not hand over baby Yoda to Wener Herzog'.

I'm also assuming we finally get introduced to Giancarlo Esposito and Gina Carrano's characters.

I love TCW, so I think hiring Filoni is a step in the right direction.

In all the times I’ve seen that image used as a meme, I’ve never realized Captain Pancakes was standing next to Sheev.

"It was not an honorable kill. I was helped by an enemy."
    "An enemy assisted you? Why?"
"They.... did not know they were my enemy."

It’s a damn shame that Emily Swallow has to hide her herself under that helmet.

This episode was awesome though. Our hero still needs a little more Beskar to complete his armor.
