Hmm, how accurate have they been in the past? Like would they put up a guess for price, or would they only put something that they got from the horse's mouth himself?

Also, looking at their prices of the rest of the Stunticons on their site, I guess the NA retail prices are ~ $15 more? So the American retailers would prolly be charging $109? So if this price is true, its smack dab in the middle of the range I guessed?

Haven't places been charging roughly $10-$12 more for the toy versions? So prolly around $105 from an overseas retailer, $120 from one of the NA places?

Well, if keeping with the normal release schedule, G2 Gravestone will debut at TFCon Orlando next March, so I'd expect an announcement in February, after CNY?

Horses mouth, pretty sure they have a decent relationship with XTB. Tfs-express are rock solid overall. Get 99% of my stuff from them.

Like apologies to people on this board who don't like people saying how much we're willing to pay. but if they had sold Gravestone with trailer for $120, that would be freaking bonkers, that's way too little. I said $120 for just MM himself at the most, and going by TFS-Express' prices for the rest of the Stunticons and how much they go for here in the states, like I said, he should only be going for $109 here. I'm quite skeptical at TFS's $130 price and will reserve judgment until other places start putting it up for pre-order.

 

I don’t recall any official word from unit or XTB as to pricing. $120USD sounds about right for what it is and looking at competing figures of Gravestone’s size.

I’d guess at around $80USD for the trailer part once released in April 2020.

If anyone was expecting Gravestone including the trailer... both parts for $120USD... keep dreaming. The cost of 3P stuff keeps going up.

 

Plenty of people thought that Gravestone will be "cheap", perhaps not 120, but certainly no one was expecting 130 for just the cab portion. But this forum is filled with revisionists. No doubt, the same people will now come up with a list of reasons on why paying 200 plus is CHEAP.

Anyway, it's time to put away the idea that this set is a bargain. It's not.

 

Why would the trailer be 80? It's bigger than this.

Actually I haven't seen the cost of 3P stuff going up. It's about the same.

 

I expected about $100 for just the cab. DX9's offering is $160, it's not unreasonable to hope for similar pricing. I mean, I'm still gonna buy it but I'll likely wait for a sale.

 

I can either suck it up and pay for Cab and Trailer price or go without completing the set, and my OCD will not abide unless I sell off the team members.

For the price...compared to similar figures like the FT Motormaster or the Magic Square and TE Optimus the price doesn't feel bad. Of course,she you think that DX9 for $20-30 more gives you the full Menasor body plus accessories things become different...
What is certain is that this set isn't the dirty cheap Menasor some of us (myself included) hoped for in the beginning. The saving against the FT version is still probably going to be significant, but the DX9 set is much closer than I thought,so the company that manages to deliver the most convincing Menasor us going to be in pole position for me.
