I got mine from TFSafari, a Chinese outfit. I don't think that we are allowed to post links to sales sites, but you can Google TFSafari. They still have the antennas for Jetfire in stock.

Does anyone have tips on disassembling the face? The earpiece where the screw is hiding behind has almost no ledges to grab onto and pull it out with.

It just pops out. I think only one person here said their copy was glued. It's like a small disc.

I've seen the pictures from the how-to guide, so I know what it looks like. But the tutorial doesn't have that needed in-between step on tips on how to wedge that piece out. I've tried using a small screwdriver, a thumb tack, etc. It's in there tight. It might even be glued in there. Could I use a blow dryer to heat the glue maybe?

For me, it just popped out with my fingernail. If it's truly glued in there, then you'll need to force it out. You have to be careful with heat as you could potentially warp the helmet. Too many horror stories with hair driers ruining plastic (not to mention getting hair and whatever human debris is in the hair dryer all over your figures).

Ignore the custom LED switch I installed in the lightpiping window. The left "ear" is molded detail and part of the helmet. The right "ear" is a cover. If you look carefully, they're not exactly symmetric. The right ear has a larger gap. That's where you would put your fingernail in and pull the piece out. If it's being really stubborn (possibly from glue or maybe the tab is just tight), try a tool that won't mar the plastic, like an orange LEGO separator.

I like the figure as is. I gave away the armor that came with mine to someone on here.

The issue is in the mask itself, not in Jetfires head.

I usually buy 2 of everything, and one of my Jetfires has this issue, just used the mask of the other Jetfire and no problem at all.

It is clear that the issue is present in some units with the pin of the mask.

I got Jetfire for Xmas and at least it's clear I'm not the only one with this mask issue. I'll have to play with it, see what I can do. That head disassembly guide really helps!

Actually managed to get the company I bought it from to send me a replacement mask (as well as an upper torso assembly). Whole thing works excellent now.

I was wondering how did you do lights in the head? I have been wanting to do it but don't know how. Is there a kit?
