Don't you worry about that ;)  Think about the Lamborghini Countach. Every other year, somebody still manages to find a unique transformation for that alt mode. Dx9, XTB, FT, Takara, Badcube. You think by now, that thing would be exhausted, but no.

Trust me, I do not have blind faith in FansToys. No company is perfect, and the shit show of what happened with Hoodlums chest is not forgotten. Than goes without the nightmare transformations of Rouge, Koot alongside Quietus and the Metal chest scratching issues, and finally purple Blurr… none of which anyone was aware of if pre-ordering.

If there is a company I would not trust with a combiner it would be FT...

But it shouldn't be the case with any 3rd party figures we are having to play a game where we gamble. But we are...

I would rather not do it again, but evidence says we will, as Thousandkills was not revealed until the other 5 were released!

You won't be disappointed, lots of ratchets, quite strong plastics, those two features will guarantee you a very durable toy.

Cool. I preordered this guy as my first TFC product, as well. The scale seems fine for me since I like the Terrorcons as a group but was never a fan of how Abominus looked. I'll likely just have them as a squad on my MP Decepticon shelf.

That looks pretty great. I may just pick one up regardless of what the rest of the Terrorcons look like. Seems like they made the colors nice and vibrant too, which is the one thing their Seacons were lacking.

That's nice. I don't know why this version's beast mode works so well for me while Fenrir fell flat. I'd say the organic style is selling it better, but I got "definitely a demon canid" from POTP too.

    Ok.
While I would have loved to have seen their more stylized original take on the Terrorcons, I really like this take on the character. The articulation on the beast heads is quit impressive

Looking forward to the reviews on this, and to seein the other members of the set.

BTW - Fo those who haven't seen them here some some sketches of the previous designs:

"Fell flat" is actually about the best wording you could have used: look at the detailing and primarily the beast heads... Pinnae! That's what REALLY sells him being a (demonized) mammal.
I still LOVE UT's Troll... so very anxious to see how their take on Blot comes out.

Interesting, going full Cerberus. That alone would've caused such a fit.
Very unique designs. IIRC what we've seen of the team is only pushing the line in aesthetics.

I know the intended relationship has been established, but I noticed this detail.

Do we have a confirmation that an arm mode is not possible for old Double Head?

Third, not first. They did a Dinobot combiner and a Throttlebot combiner before Constructor.

    *squinting at pics from today*
Um... not 100% sure but that's what it looks like to me.
He definitely does NOT have the "elbow box" assembly like the Poseidon limbs all do. You can see that his beast legs alternate with his robot arms taking up at least part of his thoracic void. He's also showing off an ab crunch unlike them.

Maybe they worked out something different, like they went Combiner Wars style with the gapped forelimbs... but I can't see how these new images support there being an arm mode.

At the very least, this one looks bad ass. ShowZ needs to ship my copy already.
