I was expecting these OS to scale with MPM figures

 

Pretty sure we already knew these guys not OS since rampage are revealed

 

tbh I just want to buy these guys to get SS devy for nearly half the price. (plus get the bonus of diecast, if there is some)

 

Hope all that die cast doesn't make the final combiner sag since it's not designed for it.

 

Id buy an OS Longhaul.

 

There's already preorder of long haul over here by local seller, and the price is more than 4 times cheaper than what retails ask for the official hasbro. I am not one on waiting game exactly, so i choose to just buy ones it is ready stock, but with that much difference, it is no brainer for me.

 

Unlike KO PotP Predaking, the bots (and alt modes...if that's your thing) are pretty good individually. Would be nice to have a 2nd set so I dont have to take the official apart.

 

I hate it that Long Haul's not oversized but I have been needing another Long Haul to display in robot mode with my smaller movie figures since I'm going to be keeping Devastator combined. Hopefully Model Wizard will make an oversized one.

 

I can see someone making oversize ones too eventually, but I don't mind 1-1 scale when they are so cheap as these are (and yet still pretty decent).

 

I'm quite happy with my KO Rampage, very tight joints, some things that were black are grey some things that were grey are now black, but not sure which is better.

I might slather them all in paint and dirt anyway.

 

One question, is the scale is is same as the official?

 

I suppose someone must have both before long - but from video reviews i've seen they seem to be exactly the same size as the original ones - only with a slightly different deco and a little bit of added metal.

 

Honestly I can't say for sure as I don't have the original, the toy seems the same size but the box is much bigger.

 

Yup, these KOs are 1:1. Hopefully they release hightower sooner, scalper prices are no.

 

It's a shame they didn't do the yellow version. That SS Devastator will have a red leg REALLY bugs me.

Yes, it's being released now-ish.

 

My Rampage arrived yesterday if he has metal in him it's not so much that it's noticable. The vehicle mode is nice - I do feel the pogo stick needed a spring in it though. Quality is nice too.

I'd hope they have enough connection to the brand to consider making a yellow version too though. - I'd not mind a yellow version of Longhaul too - if they were crafty they could keep making yellow ones for all of them and those who wanted the Yellow Rampage for the leg can just get that and those who like a unified colour can keep buying yellow and make a G2 like combined mode. But there is something to be said for just making the appropriate repaint so that would be Demolishor/Scavenger for example.

Anyway he is a nice enough little chap - but I'd welcome someone making him a longer tail upgrade sometime. My longhaul is in the mail so I should have him soon too hopefully. Quality is great especially considering how cheap they are.

As for differences - some of the flat head pins in the original have been replaces with screws, and parts swapped from grey to black and from black to grey.
he doesn't have the warning tampos on him any more.

Other than that his plastic quality is excellent.. doesn't feel remotely like KO plastic.

I do wonder though do the small pistols actually come off as they seem pretty well stuck on there - I wonder if they either put them in there when they were still warm and they expanded and got stuck or if they changed the mould and there isn't even a removable piece there any more for the small pistols.
