At this point, I believe everyone will be getting both A and B parts. I'm just trying to be funny.  

Once B-part is available, XTB may only have MX-12 from then on, no more parts A and B. Splitting up may be just to give XTB extra time to finish up their trailer.

My guess is you pay for both A and B upfront. They'll ship you A now and B next year.

XTB themselves said they're coming out 4 months apart. To me, that's intended to sell seperately.

I imagine LBP will give me an option of paying another deposit, or just B at a discounted price, but covering an extra 30yuan that's normally the deposit. Or, it could be like FT's Fort Max where they updated the preorder to two options

My go-to-seller told me that you must pre-order A and B together, but you pay for part A and B individually when they arrive and the deposit will be deducted when you pay for part B. You can opt out if decide not to buy part B but lose the deposit.

This doesn't make perfect sense to me since when part A is in stock later this year, you should be able to buy it separately on Taobao without having to care about part B, unless XTB only deliver stock to seller per the number of pre-orders. I plan to get them anyway so I don't bother to ask, or in any case, I lose 10 yuan deposit if I end up not buying part B.

 

Thanks for clearing that up! Not that the discounts are much but kind of poor that there's no discount at all for A. XTB aren't as popular as FT so as you say there'll be plenty of stock. That and FT probably do the smallest batch runs in the business. Or, it seems that way.....

 

You still get discounts, not much though, for part A. The seller keeps the deposit until part B is delivered instead of deducting the deposit when you pay the balance for part A.

 

How can you tell for sure there's not much of discount for Gravestone A? Do we know Taobao's price for A vs non-Taobao seller's price?

So we preorder both when A comes into stock we can pay the balance on it and the Taobao seller will ship it out immediately?

 

I just predict based my previous XTB purchases, of course I hope for more but the price is TBD per my go-to-seller.

And Yes, my go-to-seller will ship A out when I pay the balance for A, presumably in Dec. The deposit will only be applied for deduction when I pay for B next year. Well, can't say for other sellers but at least that's what my go-to-seller told me.

For us it means it's the domestic Mainland China version. If you buy 3C Hasbro items for example, they usually come with a 2nd chinese instruction booklet.
