I know the feeling. I am going to be selling off all the toys I really don't like. been a bit picky about what I have been buying. so selling any molds I do not like and anything that doesn't fit what I want for my g1 collection like the pretenders.

need to focus on the g1 toys I want.

    great stuff, thanks

    @Skyguy,
Based on what's been seen as colour prototypes it looks as if Iron Factory's next few releases after Tesarus will be Exhaust & Cliffjumper, then probably BW Megatron & Soundwave V2 although not 100% certain of that order.

I really like rabbits, but as I also have ferrets it's not the best idea. When I volunteered at a small urban farm last year I got to handle lots of rabbits and guinea pigs and it was so much fun...apart from one furry sod that bit everyone :D

Here's Rebecca perching on the back of her favourite living room chair,

Shortly before this she had the upper section of one of my fingers between her fangs, only slight bleeding when she let go so just a playful nip :D

Been looking forward to these for a while.

I won them in an eBay auction about 2 or 3 weeks ago but only just received them!

Between the seller originally sending me the wrong one and then not putting enough postage on these (having to pay £1.50 to get them from Royal Mail's mitts) they're finally here today.

What I love about them is that it folds out into the huge combiners poster. The wife has already said that if I ever get a man cave I should frame it and put it in the wall.

Oh yeah I forgot Cliffjumper. Exhaust looks great I’m not sure where he would fit into my display but he can always fight g2 Sideswipe on my bookshelf. Same reason as to why I’m on the fence about the BW guys. I’m not sure they fit but I’m sure they will be fantastic and I don’t want to end up seeking them out later and have to pay after market prices. Ah well I guess I’ll see how I feel nearer their release.

My best friend’s sister used to have ferrets. They were friendly but I did get a nip or so. Our two rabbits are very curious and adventurous. One of them like jumping up on the window ledge and watching the world outside or watching tv on his chair... which is a child’s chair I was up-cycling. They have terrible eye sight so I think it’s just the movement and noises. The other follows me like a dog. It’s just a shame they are fighting for dominance at the moment. It’s hard to have them together.

Cracked open Siege Apeface as soon as I got in from work earlier as he was safely tucked behind my usual space, big props to the driver for making the trek to the door in the pouring November rain.

I just can’t decided how I feel about him, one second I think he’s bloody awesome and my favourite of the Siege line but the next I instantaneously feel like he could have been drawn up again for improvements. I’m definitely glad that I didn’t pay premium to get him either. The white plastic isn’t bad in person but it seems so pointless to ruin all that molded details on it because it’s plentiful.

It is also possible to get Spasma to actually mimic piloting in the nosecone cockpit instead of that rear now obsolete one on my copy. Just turn the headmaster upside down so the Ape visor is hidden inside the helmet and turn the headmaster face around. There is a bit of resistance putting it back into the nose one but not much at all and will go fine. If you shine light into the cockpit you can see him staring right back at you!

I also love how the Ape teeth are staring out the front of the sleek jet mode, reminds me of an A-10. My head cannon is that he’s a heavy Cybertronian interceptor because his gun pegs into the nosecone again similar to how the A-10 has that big ass gun on the front. Not a military guy so I don’t actually know the real name.

The shield worries me though however because it’s just painted clear plastic and I hate the stuff, it’s so tight in that 5mm peg hole on his back I’m worried I’m going to break it each time I plug it in. I’m thinking maybe cutting the peg a small bit will make it easier to remove and will fit more snugly and look natural on his arm. His gun is also really awesome, looks like some kind of submachine gun or hand cannon.

His articulation isn’t too bad but he severely suffers due to the lack of waist swivel. The rest is pretty good though.

Overall I’d give him a 7.5/10 but could easily be pushed up to a solid 9 if I get around to doing some improvements.

    Photoshoot to come soon!

Wooow. Can we see the back of that Special teams poster? I'm on a bit of an old paperwork kinda kick. Possibly inspired by all the bits @Maz has been uncovering, who knows. In fact...

    CALENDAR UPDATE

One of the old 1980's (1985?) paperwork catalogs is gonna be the focus for the back cover of the calendar...

There's some Photoshop... but y'know. It's subtle... heheheh.

Good Christ, the joints on this lad are stiff. But what a looker. Don't think much to his regular face with the moustache and hat, but this alternative head is quite the thing.

If I can get Exhaust (he's an exclusive of some sort) I'll probably put him on a shelf that currently has the DJD, the Phase Sixers and minor Seekers on it.

I was really pleased to see IF reveal some Beast Wars characters as after discovering that part of Transformers about 3 years ago when I was very burnt out on G1 it gave my fandom a new lease of life.

Since I decided to focus entirely on smaller figures I'd been hoping someone would have a go at Beast Wars for a bit of variety and so far we've got 2 coming from Iron Factory, 2 from Transform Element and another from Toyworld which isn't a bad start....only drawback at present is where I'll put them although I have been looking at a set of small shelves in Argos that I have wall space for.

It sounds like one of your bunnies is like Rebecca and likes looking out of a window, I think they're similar in not having great eyesight but they're good at finding bits of humans to bite and their sense of smell always detects food whether it's for them or not :D

As far as fighting goes it took a bit of getting used to the fact that when ferrets are playing, they look like they're trying to kill each other, as they tend to literally go for each other's throats. But I did some research and discovered they have very thick skin compared to humans and aside from the occasional small mark they've never actually hurt each other.

When Oreo had an operation earlier this year I had to separate him from Rebecca whilst he got through the initial recovery process as she kept jumping on him wanting to play but he wasn't in the mood and got a bit grumpy so to be on the safe side I split them up for about a week which also helped the wound from the op heal up and then they were back together as normal, they're so funny when they're chasing each other around!

When I was a kid my Mum had a friend who had a giant rabbit that used to follow everyone round the house, he was sooo soft and fluffy!

I am really digging her colour scheme in hand. She's definitely got 'last use of the mold' floppiness in her limbs. The real satisfaction will be when I finally put Orthia together. Was it worth the wait? Man, it feels like the wait has been over two years. Way back from when we saw the first leak for Moonracer. Is anything worth waiting two years? I guess the feeling is 'relief' more than anything else?

Pretty much my thoughts about finishing Siege. Planning on committing to the trilogy with the exception of Selects releases if I can, I plan to buy Hot Shot and Nightbird but not sure if I’m gonna go as far as G2 Megatron and Shackwave. Smokescreen is on the way as well.

I should have made a list, my brain is frazzled.
