You're right, where the heck did I get the 31st?!? But the 26th is a Wednesday, so that's gotta be an Amazon estimate right? Seems like it would have to be the 29th then?

 

It used to say 28th right there on AMZ, which is a Saturday and would make sense. It now showing a Thursday is definitely odd and I think it has to be some kind of error. Amazon doesn't really do estimates like this, especially not after the actual release date has been known and stated for so long. It's just a 2 day difference though, so in the grand scheme of things it doesn't make a big difference but it'll be interesting to see whether they'll change it back to 28 or keep it as is until the toy is released.

I'll keep an eye on the page at least  

Edit: just checked another big Japanese retailer and they also have December 26 as the release date.
Perhaps they moved it up because of New Years.

Nippon Yasan also just notified me that the release date moved from 12/31 to 12/26.

 

I need to check if Amazon Japan changed their dates, too.

 

Last Sat. of the month is the 28th, I imagine some sellers may be seeing them out the 26th our time(27th theirs)

 

This. Almost every MP release has come on the last Saturday of the month, and if there have been delays, they are also almost always released on a Saturday. That said, most retailers start shipping the Friday before (which is usually Thurs. afternoon in the US).

I've learned to never really trust what the retailers say, only TTMall's dates matter.

 

Is it possible to order from TTMall in the US?

 

You have to use a forwarding service since they only ship to UP addresses. The only upside to using TT Mall is with some of the Mall exclusives they will offer double and triple points. For those of us outside of Japan it doesn't do us much good.

I love 45 Bumblebee, but he's so barebones, especially given his price. Great to be reminded that our next release is chock full of gimmicks/accessories. Less than a month to go!
