I really would like @dalianjj to shed more light on this. There more i think about this i really wonder what something like this will weigh. I think he needs a locking mechanism in his hips similar to FT Stomp to further ensure stability. The good thing is fortress maximus is very evenly distributed in terms of proportions, and doesn't have a backpack so i doubt he'll be top or back heavy.

Lewin-01 is around 16 lbs, is fairly dense at about 28" tall and contains diecast. I guess this could be around the 20 lbs mark. But only one person on this thread knows and they have been very quiet about it.

20 lbs is Haslab Unicron. I'd be really surprised if this one is less than 40.

 

40 idk, at the weight I dont see its legs supporting its own weight. If it was 40 they should call him FortyMax, that all makes sense now that its FT 40, maybe that joke has been made already. 30 lbs max, final bet, the only logic I have behind that is that fortmax is for the most part a bunch of ramps and hollow cubes/boxes and just "lays down". Where as Unicron carries his entire altmode shell on the bot.

 

I did some math and assuming TR Fortress Maximus weights 3kg and is 60cm tall, scaling to the 115 cm quoted for this one gives a weight of more than 21kg, or more than 45lbs. For him to be significantly lighter we should assume more hollowness and thinner/less dense plastic than Hasbro's titans. Logic dictates that this should be the case, but we are talking about FT, a company famous for the heft of their figures. I guess we can only wait and see.

 

They will have to make some custom diecest joints for him im sure.. each click of a joint is gonna sound like a 22 going off lol.. this is going to be the first of the citybots im sure they will go all out... imagine if they sold us a 1200 POS.. the backlash would be swift and ruin their rep. Let alone their shot to do the other city bots and have em sell.. if they pull this first citybot off with no major hitches then its god status for em.. I hope they do it right.
