I'm glad you are set with the versions that are currently out there. Some of us simply don't want them. We can wish all we want for what the next MP is, but the fact that those (TB and Hoist) were mentioned as being a WIP in some way, is reason enough to believe they will be made. If not, no biggie. I'll take whatever TT decides to put out.

One thing I won't do personally is simply settle for just any lesser (IMO) version simply because "the gotta catch 'em all" mentality of this whole collecting TF's.

Again, I'm happy that works for some. No conmigo, señor.

 

Options are good! Personally I got a bit fed up of waiting. I can't see TT releases continuing in this line for the next 20yrs, and that's what it'd take to complete a season one collection given the inclusion of BW and the odd Diaclone option here and there. Plus the fact that Seekers v3 and a toon Soundwave will happen, OP v4, then Blaster, or who knows even a new Decepticon might happen... really limits the available slots for further new characters.

I buy 3P to either scratch an itch or fill a hole I know will likely never be filled by TT, whether they read this forum or not (we know Hasbro did for Unicron, and there's a TT employee on here too, so the sarcasm was a bit unnecessary). I'm okay with that, and it's fairly widely held that TT are too, unless you tread on their toes (FT's Soundwave for example).

If TT provide what I want they'll get my money, but I won't shill for them as much as I won't for 3P. I want a collection of toon likenesses of S1-3 characters, and no one company can provide that within the next 15yrs or so.

If you wet your pants for MP44, like most people who marveled at it's engineering, myself included, you'd appreciate a lot of the 3P stuff too if you allowed yourself. Instantly referring to a 3P figure as "lesser" to a non existent TT figure that may or may not ever happen doesn't achieve anything, even if it is an opinion you are entitled to have.

Also, just fyi, I spent ages looking at the 3P options for each figure before choosing the one that I felt best suited my tastes. In fact BSF did a really good set of videos detailing the best options for a Masterpiece collection, and all the official options made the cut.

To finish this off, and return to Bumblebee, I must say the "half a bot in the rear of a chibi beetle" engineering blows me away!

Being the leaked copies have been floating around since August not much of a surprise,I guess.
The irony is if its a KO its 9 dollars less than if you had ordered it.

 

I'd guess it's either part of the stolen stock, or perhaps a review copy like some on here have had.

I suppose it's possible that one such copy has been KO'd but I don't know whether 3 months is sufficient time to do that or not...

 

Does anyone think we might see final product box/figure before 11/23? Also WTF AJP...the holidays must already be hitting. My delivery ETA is Dec 1-4th...

Technically, the 'bot mode of MP-21 is based on the G1 character design incorporating real vehicle aesthetics and proportions. How the Takara engineers managed to do "mass shifting" the pennyracer proportion into a much taller form is amazing!

 

Where was mp-45 80 bucks? I think the lowest I personally saw Amazon go was like 95.
