To be honest, they've been scalping I think the first scalpy prices I saw were on Amazon Japan. Then after NY sold out of their "preorder stock," they shot it up to the 46k Yen mark. Either way, I'm glad Amazon put some up for preorder Hope all who wanted one who missed out on the initial preorders got one! Yeah, we've all said that...until someone puts up a preorder for something we want...then it's like making a New Years Resolution. Failed at day 1

Just received the shipping notification for GX-88 from TCP!!! I should have it by the end of the week. Will finally have a high quality version of one of my favorite combining robots from the 80's.
Any idea when BBTS will have GX-88 preorders in? I should've PO'd from Toy Dojo instead when I had the chance.

Between this and Amazon USA there sure seems to be plenty of GX-88's at regular retail price so suddenly available so close to release date. Did a lot of people suddenly cancel their POs?
I am really surprised, not on SureThingsToy as they told me they always have a few spare just in case something happens to their stock. Amazon still have it at $339.99 for so long is what confuses me, although they charge taxes.
I asked SureThingToys about a out of stock preorder item recently (not Dairugger XV) and the gave me the most transparent answer ever about what was going on. I was actually quite surprised and content with their reply. I haven't ordered anything from them yet, but will do so if something I want comes up. Free shipping and no minimum order amount! Can't beat that!

Agreed. They are really honest people and you won't be disappointed about their service. The only reason I didn't order from them for GX88 iwas simply because they required full pre-payment at that time. Subsequently I have pre-ordered with Toy Dojo, although they are $5 cheaper now, I think it makes more sense to stick with my Toy Dojo pre-order and let other collectors to grab it from SureThingToys. Edit: and it is sold out at SureThingToys
Haven’t received an e-mail or anything from them yet, but I saw today that my credit card was charged for my order of GX-88 from Entertainment Earth.
got an answer from TD and he has GX88 in store so i'll go pick it up on Thrusday, after a nap bcuz i have 24hr duty tomorrow
