Hey i do have a question for you few other fellas who had the same problem I did with the Astrotrain "purchase". Would it be asking too much to get the tracking number that the seller offered you guys? If we all had the same tracking number... then I definitely will have more to discuss with Ebay about getting that guy banned. I mean... even the tracking route doesn't make sense based on what others have said about the tracking of the supposed packages. If you decide not to offer your tracking number that's fine and I understand. I'm just curious and pissed off but... that's my own fault for expecting to get my favorite Decepticon weeks before it's supposed to be available.
Re: the ebay scammer - the whole "package sent to the wrong address" thing is a pretty common 'stall' tactic, I've encountered them both through ebay and Amazon in the past. As far as I can tell, it's meant to make you think something was actually shipped, which a) shifts the blame to the courier service, and b) also delays the time before you file for a refund and take action against them. All of it is about stalling - the longer they're up and running, the more people they're suckering in for the scam, and the more people they scam, the more likely they are to have somebody who doesn't want to bother with going through all the steps to chase down a refund. While I'm usually all for "giving people a chance", if you see suspicious stuff (deal too good to be true, etc) then you should be on high alert and either don't buy anything or be right on top of it ready to pounce at a moment's notice. I'm not advocating going all Karen on people, but... this is a high-density scam area, you've gotta watch yourself.
Understood, point made and lesson learned the hard way.... as usual for me it seems it's just frustrating as all hell to me is all. Like I stated previously, it's a miracle that I've never had a problem of this sort up until now I guess.
I know this isn't a sighting, but for those who have the new Apeface figure in hand, how does he stack up? alot of the reviews i've watched, they dont like that chest piece and how it tabs in? another is they dont like the overall color either and there seems to be some flex in the cream colored plastic as well to some reviewer. Debating is if he is worth picking up or not or wait IF hasbro will fix any QC issues, if thats relevant. Another is How is amazon getting these new items quicker than Hasbro pulse?

Don't worry, it's not just you. It's best practices overall, and some people need a reminder. Like I said, I even had one through Amazon once, and they bend over backwards to watch out for this kinda thing. I ordered a power washer and they shipped it to my address... except, MO instead of OH. When I checked the airbill, I saw that whatever they did ship was like .5 oz, so definitely NOT a power washer, and that's when the alarm bells started going off.
Hey fellas. I just wanted to let you all know that after several messages these past couple of days and then taking the advice to leave the negative feedback for the seller I suddenly got a notification on my phone that a refund had been issued to my account. Naturally, I may not receive the refund until as late as midnight tomorrow... but still... I got a refund and will most likely never, EVER make a mistake like that again. Now I just need to see if I can place an order for Astrotrain at a reputable online storefront. Thanks for all of your help.
I ordered the Apeface off of amazon like a lot of you guys. However, when I got home I found that the package was stolen. I’m going through the return/refund process but have a feeling that he’ll be out of stock by the time the grace period is up. So, if any of y’all have a duplicate/find one in the wild, I’d appreciate a heads up.
Not much new at Tri-County Target. But, they are having a buy-2-get-1 sale on TFs...and Siege deluxes are still $17.99 and voyagers are $24.99. So there's that.
Damn, I'm sorry to hear it. The fandom seems pretty torn on it so I'm hoping he's still up then. Sorry that happened to ya, I got mine and theyd sent a Siege Optimus instead. however got a replacement sent after I called. Give them a call to hopefully speed it up, I did that to speed up the process and get it filed.
I called them as soon as I was able to confirm it was stolen. It wasn’t at the leasing office or grabbed by a neighbor. I just hope that by the time the grace period is over that they still have it in stock, and THEN they send me the right thing. I didn’t even know that they were messing up orders
Has anyone been to the Colerain Target lately? I’m gonna try to find the Series 4 Botbots or the Wave 5 Siege Deluxes/Micromasters before the B2G1 ends and was gonna try there
I just don't think Botbots Series 4 (the blue bubble ones) are in Cincy yet. I've checked Beechmont, Tri-County, Oakley, Milford, and Blue Ash all within the last day or two. Somebody said that Newport was a no-go as well. You work at the Target in Florence, KY right? That leaves Colerain, Western Hills, Lebanon, Fields Ertel, and Tylersville as the only ones that I haven't checked. Has anybody been to any of those Targets within the past day or so? Edit - It's crazy that there are 12 local Targets to search! I guess we are lucky in that aspect!
Colerain and Western Hills are in my area. Not looking for botbots but will check, and will report back once I give them a check.
Polaris Target has had a restock since Saturday but nothing new. Thanks to a (positive) job change I now work a stone's throw away from it, so I'll probably hit it up pretty regularly.
