My train of thought has a caboose. Several, actually. In fact it's nothing but cabooses. Probably why I never get anywhere.

 

The real question is will mp 36 and tw Constructor fit inside his shuttle mode, if not then I'll have to incessantly complain upon release for several pages

 

Not to blast off on a different track and throw this thread off the rails completely, but can anyone here tell me when the next big convention will be for reveals? I'm talking about the one in China, where companies such as DX9, TFC, Maketoys, KFC, XTB, MMC etc might actually appear and show stuff. What it's called and when's it gonna be? If you can help me with that info, you're a rock(et) star, thanks.

Shangai STS was back in April. Singapore SGCC is usually around August. Those are two where more 3P tend to show up. There was a China Toy Expo in Shanghai in October but I don't recall hearing or seeing much from that, and there's also the Hobby World Expo in Beijing end of Nov, early December and a Singapore ComiCon in early December, so we can see if 3Ps do anything there.

I assume you’re talking about the large panels folded around the front of the shuttle?

Its important to realise that this is very explicitly designed by FansToys to homage both the original cartoon design AND the original toy design, and that whole “uncircumsized” look was an essential part of both. G1 Astrotrain is not meant to be a perfect replica of a space shuttle. It’s supposed to look just like that. They are doing an excellent job of replicating the unique Astrotrain design
