You could be right. Might be my unintentional contribution to the “fish is this big” part of the story.  

 

There are rumors that HasTak got a complaint from 3A because Toyworld brought their optimus figure to the same exhibition 3A was showing off their non-transformable BB Prime. I don't really know about the facts beyond that, and many have said that TW's just being silent because they're busy making the figure. There's no official confirmation about the rumors as far as I'm aware and many stores are still holding preorders for the TW figure, so take what you will from it.

Yeah I thought it didn’t have an ab crunch. Which makes sense since the transformation seems very involved.

 

Hasbro could fix all that if they made better figures like their unofficial competitors are doing.

 

Well yeah probably. But I dunno, they’re kinda cool these days.

 

They are, but there have also been times where these 3rd party figures still did better versions and/or characters that have never gotten figures and probably never will.
I mean, a lot of 3rd party companies do a good job of avoiding the backpack syndrome that a lot of Hasbro figures have.

As far as we know yes, but it’s Toyworld so expect it to be next summer before we hear anything new.

They said around this time last year I think it was that we’d see grey model prototypes by Q3 2019 but I guess they actually meant 2020

If that works, it's witchcraft beyond UT's witchcraft. Where the hell are the big car wheels in helicopter mode!

 

Based on the coloring they use to show where each section ends up, looks like at least 2 tires end up in the center of the copter. No idea where the other 2 end up.

 

hm I dont know...every mode looks to be too perfect for it to be a complete model..I sure hope it is though
