How is this head different from the original
one?

 

I'm not 100% sure, but from looking at the front page, it seems the proportions of the face and helmet are a bit different.

 

So need these; in multiple quantities.
These guys were already lacking seriously in fire power.

 

i think the faceplate a bit longer.

 

As best as I can tell from these new photos, the crest and the arches leading up to it are much shorter, with the arches also not having the silver or grey accents on them. Overall, they look like shorter, broader, and more simplified G1-esque type of heads to me.

 

Not having the missiles come out, well without taking it apart and having huge holes, is such a stupid design in the original.

This will solve one of my biggest design gripes on an awesome figure.

 

Where can I buy these?

 

Fingers crossed a version of him goes on sale for cheapish come Black Friday. Atomic Blast also looks so good, can't wait for final colors.
