I've been looking forward to a good Legioss for, well, decades now. Hopefully this one is it. Getting the preorder in with Amazon for under $250 (including shipping!?) makes me feel like I made out like a bandit after the wallet-busting Sv-51/MP-44 1-2 punch a few months back.

EDIT: put down a preorder with them anyway (forgive me i'm weak, plus in my experience they're great in avoiding italian customs). If i find it somewhere else cheaper with the same benefits (no immediate payment, good for avoiding customs) i'll preorder there and let my NY preorder payment window misteriously expire .... Let's just hope this legioss is not a floppy mess like sentinel's ride armours ...
If you're still feeling doubts, you have up to I think December 5th to cancel from AJ. Maybe put an order in at HLJ to ponder more
Yeah, I'm just going to go for it. I mean, I can just sell it if I don't like it. It looks beautiful. Like, every single aspect of this LOOKS perfect. If it weren't for the long history of cursed Legioss toys and the fact that I've never handled a SenTiNel toy I truly love (Iron Giant was there until his ankles stopped holding up his weight) I would have a lot more confidence in this. Honestly though, despite the history I have going into this the new photos have genuinely made me excited for this. They're small details, but the friction clips and the tiny articulated pilot are what made me think "OK, they truly care about making this great." Maybe our long international nightmare will finally be over.
You know the nightmare is finally over when they don't screw up the hands. No gummy material, gunpod pegs securely into the hand and the damn fingers do not separate from the knuckles.
Add one more preorder to the list. I'll admit it's not my dream Legioss....but only because it isn't green.
I was right to be doubtful. With the item sold by Amazon.jp, the total including customs is a whopping 33000 yen. It's a bit hard to swallow given the size of the thing...
I totally forgot they would be an option. Pricing with shipping is probably about the same or maybe a little cheaper.
Actually AJ is a bit cheaper is that's what you meant. Mine at AJ is showing 24,955 yen (and that may drop too) which is roughly $230 ish shipped while BBTS is $250 before whatever shipping option you'd choose.
Yep, so far all my Sentinel orders at AJ have dropped in price since ordering and the good thing is AJ automatically adjusts your order to the lowest price between order and release. It's a great option as long as you aren't worried about the Kleenex box ( I'm using that description from now on) and customs like @Lex79 would get hit with.
I was comparing HLJ to BBTS. Forgot that Amazon Japan was an option. I’m remembering them as being very hit or miss as far as being willing to ship to the US, and sometimes cancelling orders. Have they changed?
The past few things I've been able to order from them are shipping to the US. The Legioss is I haven't seen them cancel my order, but they do allow for you to cancel the order up until it gets close to release time.
the auto adjust to lowest price seems to be for only items lists with that special offer. Which most preorders used to have , but they did not list that for this item.
Never noticed that before and thanks for pointing it out. Either way, I'm satisfied with the price I got.
