What does Apeface look like next to TR Megatron?

For that, I would say Mirage and Impactor. Mirage has an incredible Bot mode that only has a flaw in The lower legs from how the wheels collapse, and the way the back folds up is great. He also has an interesting Transformation. Impactors size and transformation is great. Both Figures are posable and Interesting. I will say that if you are looking to pick up one of the Datsun Bros, I recommend Bluestreak, He is my favorite of the 4.

 

Overheard Astrotrain has been spotted in Ontario Canada. However, it's not official yet.

 

For Apeface's jet mode, I like to flip up his purple ape feet in the back so that the bottoms are facing up. It just feels right.

Like many others, I got Apeface today from Amazon. I don't have any particular love of the character or nostalgia for him, and generally I don't like peg and tab based Transformations, but I'm strangely satisfied with him. Everything pegs and tabs in well, I needed some extra elbow grease for the nosecone/brace for gorilla the first time around and to peg the nosecone into the feet, but it's strangely satisfying.

Unlike many others, I've turned mine into a double headmaster. That's Legends Apeface, who now is the robot mode head and goes into the cockpit for jet and gorilla modes, while Siege Apeface hides in the gorilla head for all modes.

 

It turns out Decepticon fembots dig Doctors too.







So I was thinking that the good doctor could use a Nurse. I would really like a Lifeline figure, but the only ones I can find are on eBay as part of a set, and for a sky-high price of course. I'm wondering how difficult it would be to repaint a T30 Arcee, since that would a be a far more economic option.

 

Where's Paradron Medic/Lifeline when you need her?

 

If you're likely to go back and get of the other Datsun Bros (and I'd highly recommend Bluestreak, if you can find him), I'd recommend Impactor and Mirage. However, if you're unlikely to get any of the previous Datsuns, I'd say Impactor and Barricade. I had some issues with the Mirage mold, but really enjoyed the Datsun mold. But you should definitely get Impactor. He's great!

I call this one 'stab'.

 

Mirage and Barricade. If you are able to, buy the Fan Vote 3 Pack with Decepticon Impactor.

And if you want a Datsun, get Bluestreak. He's arguably the best of them.

 

Think her right eye isn't painted properly. Looks like it's going to fall out but at least this team is done. Back Kibble removed as well
