Do you think we'll get any repaints/remolds of Apeface or Spinister or is it the end of Siege, basically?   (assuming that Astrotrain is partially Earthrise)

 

As for Spinister, possibly any other copter-based Decepticons out there.

 

I'd be down for getting a RotorStorm out of Spinister. Would that work, even?

Also, maybe a new Optimal Optimus out of Apeface.... I wonder what else Apeface could be used for....

Personally if apeface has to be redone as a version of primal, I’d rather season 2 colors simply because we just got a decent optimal optimus

 

I think ape face mold may be retooled into double dealer. Looking at the jet, removing the cone leaves a flat shape which could with some tweaks maybe pass as the vehicle mode and the Ape mode looks like with some tweaks could be the bird maybe, lose the arms etc.

 

Not every mold sees a reuse though (springer hasn’t been repainted yet) and considering double dealer could have his own repaints I find it more likely that he’d be a new mold

One of the Transmetal Optimus Primals would also make more sense with the jet mode.

 

I'd prefer Primal to get a new mold i think him being a repaint of Apeface is cheap

 

I think the idea of a Primal redeco of Apeface is more just thinking of potential opportunistic repaints we might see in Selects than saying he would be the MAIN new Primal figure but I get your point. On that point though aren't there a few other Primals with Gorilla modes from other media that they could maybe do a redeco of Apeface to? Seems likely they'd do at least one redeco of his mold. I know it's not universally true that every mold gets a redeco but it makes a certain amount of sense to use a mold at least more than once and I suspect even ones from Siege who don't currently have remolds will end up getting reused either in the mainline or Selects or a store exclusive sooner or later.

Edit: Maybe Primal Prime? He seems to have some kind of spacecraft/jet alt mode in a prior toy

They would have to change A LOT for Primal (of any kind) to be a redeco of Apeface...
