His two previous CHUG figures have been Deluxe, so I could see that trend continue.

    Cell shaded TF:TM boxset.

cowards, all of these ideas are too safe, a real speculation manwomanpersonchildman up on the drugs would speculate that we will get season 3 animation errors dudes like a prepaint of snarl that is colored like rodimus or onslaught seeker

Those two previous figures were also made before unified scale was introduced.

True. But if a hefty bot like Ironhide can be a Deluxe, then so can Scourge.

Where will all the plastic of Scourge's wings come from though? If he's as tall as Ironhide, he'd be much more bulky. And Ironhide has enough gaps and hollow parts because of his size:price point ratio. Would Scourge's own size:price point ratio would not be more pronounced...?

TR Scourge had wings, so I'm confident the good people at TT and Hasbro can figure it out.

Anyway, here's my current speculation for the top-end of town, based on what's been revealed, what's been rumoured and some of my own thoughts:

    Voyager
    Grapple
    Blaster
    Starscream
    Snapdragon
    Galvatron
    Cyclonus
    Quintesson

    Leader
    Optimus Prime
    Rodimus Prime
    Astrotrain
    Doubledealer

    Commander
    Sky Lynx

    Titan
    Scorponok

When I was playing around with Ironhide and Ratchet, I felt like that mold could be re-tooled into Kup.

    Of what?

There’s only room for about 3 TFTM character molds.

Unless I'm mistaken, we've only had 4 Deluxe, 2 Voyagers and 2 Leaders officially announced.

That leaves like 10 Deluxe, 4 Voyagers and 1-2 Leader places still to be filled.

    Where's the lack of "room"?

id say that we are likely to see 12 original deluxe molds, 5 original voyager molds, and 2 original leader molds in earthrise, if siege is anything to go by, not counting the figures brought forward from earthrise to siege anyway but i suspect it might also get extended to 5 waves like siege was so it might be more like how siege ended up as anyway. so yes there is plenty of room left for tf:tm characters however i dont think they will be all made in part 2, i think they will be split up across the 3 parts of the trilogy just like how the s1/s2 guys will be, with the inclusion of the mercs and quintessons it seems like they are taking it slow and not rushing to fill part 3 with a non 84-87 line up inexplicably, of course i could be wrong, i just see alot more deluxe minibots and tf:tm characters left to do than one part could reasonably give, hence why i think its gonna be nice and spread out.

They could well be spread out (Magnus and Springer in WFC1 could attest to that), but then that's not an anniversary celebration, that's just a normal line.

Blurr, Scourge, Hot Rod, Kup, Arcee and Galvatron all appeared in Titans Return, which was released in 2016 -- 30th Anniversary of TF:TM. However, I don't recall it being labelled as any sort of celebration to mark the occasion. It could have just been a straight-up coincidence. They were turning all the 1987 Targetmasters into Headmasters for the line, so perhaps it was.

As I've said, G1 bots can turn up in any line, any year. But with regards to WFC2, there are hints that it will draw inspiration from TF:TM, so I could see this play out fully with the release of figures like Rodimus and Galvatron, and with what's been announced thus far, it appears to me there is still room for them.

We’ve already seen two Leader molds for this line and rumors peg the third as a blue armored vehicle. Octane is also a strong candidate.

So far the WFC 2 figures that are likely but unrevealed:

Mudflap, Doubledealer, Snapdragon, Lockdown, Kickback, Bombshell, Shrapnel, Runabout, Runamuk, Lockdown, Bumblebee, Trailbreaker, Sunstreaker, Quintesson, Quintessa, Ramjet, Dirge, Thrust, Blitzwing, Megatron, Hubcap, Hot Rod, Inferno, Hothouse, Airwave, Greasepit. Hopefully Gears, Huffer, Needlenose, Pointblank, Sureshot, Cybertron Defense Red Alert, Gnaw, Hauler, Landfill, Quickmix, Sunstorm, Blaster.

There’s only room for a couple of TFTM characters.

i would say we will see the bulk of them this year because of the anniversary and the rumored box set is apart of that, but i think earthrise will feature scourge or wreck-gar, arcee or blurr or kup (1 or 2 out of the 3), hotrod and the quintessons maybe galvatron too only if ER gets extended and he gets brought forward imo, and part 3 will feature galvatron, rodimus, arcee or kup or blurr (1 or 2 out of the 3), scourge or wreck-gar, earth ultra magnus (earthrise prime w/ new armor), and cyclonus leaving parts 2 and 3 pretty split over all

Edit: added wreck-gar to my speculation, totally missed the poor lad.

A boxed set that is not Autobot themed and no more than one of any size class and doesn’t use original molds that aren’t used elsewhere in the line.

That essentially rules out anything like Galvatron and his Unicron based forces or main TFTM characters.

It’s something like Quintesson themed or Junkion or Krannix and his people.

We haven’t even had finished the proper 1984 Earth homage or the 87-88 Decepticons.

TFTM stuff is going to be “around the edges”.

I say do Rukus then complete the circle and make a new Offroad from him. I know I'd buy that.

You always talk about how your characters will never get new figures but what about my love for a new Offroad, that will be a long wait!

I'd prefer if all the Triggerbots/Triggercons were original molds, honestly.

I'm expecting Hot Rod in WFC2 and a new Galvatron, Cyclonus, etc in 3. i have no inside info. it's just what makes sense to me. i can't make War for Cybertron as a theme doesn't mesh with Beast Wars in my head. it makes more sense that the trilogy (assuming they keep this apparently winning formula going) that follows WFC will play into the beast era. the beast machines and machine wars designs will open up a path to do things like finally giving us a proper Voyager Grimlock whose alt mode isn't compromised all to heck. I'd also be thrilled to see some of the new RID Decepticon designs get the generations treatment, but that seems less likely.

For me, an update to the cyberjets, especially Hooligan in all his Macross splendor would be amazing, but only as long as they manage to stick to the original structure of the toy and improve it.

I'd just would love a voyager size, something that would be very well done, and maintain the capacity to transform in a proper gerwalk mode like his cyberjet version, and prove that such a toy doesn't have to cost in the hundreds of dollars.

But yes I know.. such a design would probably fall into a legal issue (something I've always been surprised that it didn't for when they came out as far as I know)... I'm just dreaming out loud, that's all.
