I have mostly Magic Square for my main legends display with a handful of Iron Factory and Newage sprinkled in. I'm for sure getting the MS Megatron for bot mode for the main display.

I think I'm going to add a few legends scaled Megatron pieces to this shelf like the IF Dragon, the TW T-Rex Megs, and possibly the gold NA Megs because you got to love that bling.

 

I would be suspicious of any price that is better than TaoBao + shipping. But then some of the good sellers have beaten that occasionally.

I would assume their cost price is 80% of the price on TaoBao.

Can someone tell me how much shorter he is than G1 prime please ?

 

G1 Optimus is just a little over 15.5cm. NA Megatron is a little over 11cm. So quite a bit shorter.

I double dipped on the gold version, the only other color I would go for is some kind of G2 color scheme purple and green

 

Ugh, what an amazing figure and transformation. There is no doubt though I would have destroyed him if I did not watch a tutorial or two slowed down before attempting to transform him. It was damn near traumatic so don't think I will be able to transform him back any time soon.







Also, I glad I got the "metallic". It's applied really well.

 

I just followed the skullface review and thought the transformation was great.

 

The part of first "breaking" the barrel of the gun to unlock the arm really helps. Using a spudger then to push the arm from the inside also makes it easier.

Just transform him from bot to alt and back again and the mystery is gone, the transformation is quite initiative. A few weeks after I received Agamemnon Hynkel arrived, transformed him out of the box within a minute.

 

Don't get me wrong, it's amazing. The transformation alone was worth the price to me. When I joke and say traumatic I'm talking of parts like one of arm where you have to unflap, fold, split, then twist, then push it in. I would have never figured it out.



Anyone fully transform him without watching a tutorial?

 

Yes, it's pretty straightforward. First 3rd party legend purchase for me, kinda got him on a whim. Good figure just a touch on the pricey side of things but glad I got him.
