With a project like this would it be better / prefereable for Fans Toys to do a crowd-funded project? I suppose it would mean that they would have to handle distribution...

But at least then it would give the opportunity for us to see that it was going to be produced and when etc and FT would see that actual demand... of course there would have to be a all the details, like cost!

 

This will sell out. A CF campaign would be nice really, as the sense of it being "exclusive" in some way would be an added bonus.

Either way, I don't care. I don't have the space for this as it is yet, but in a couple of years I will. I wouldn't buy this just to keep it in a box or stashed somewhere with more toys and have my house look like a swap-meet.

So i have a deposite on this guy through tf-direct and was wondering if anyone know do they ask for remaining payment when ready to ship or when full price is announced. I have ordered from them before but never put down a deposite, usually just paid outright. I can ask them but figured I'd ask here first as the fandom is quick to respond.

Lol, seeing this is kind of funny to me. I wonder though, how many people would still purchase the figure if he was about 2 inches taller/bigger than FT TG? Or does FT-40 have to be this size cuz citybot and things like that for it to be successful?

 

If it was the size of TR Fortress Maximus I would have considered the upgrade.
