Overload looks pretty nice, but is far too small. I'm really not a fan of how big Mixmaster is compared to the others. I may have to wait for yet another iteration of this character. Someone has to get it right eventually... right?

I disagree. Personally having every character be bipedal and humanoid in stature is incredibly boring. Part of the reason why the Constructicons are so interesting for me is because of how crazy their designs are and no two are really then same if I recall correctly.

Imagine if they made a massive Demolisher that housed the neck vortex and part of the head. It could give Devastator broader shoulders and a larger body. Then Mixmaster could be a bit smaller and in scale. I'd also have a second, smaller dump truck with a made up robot mode to help combine with Rampage so he could be in scale as well. Man, I just wish someone could do Devastator proper justice...

100% agreed. That’s a neat sort of G1-ification of the Movie Constructicons but they are fine as is. Completely awesome and very unique just as they are.

They've already got four figures out the door and two more trickling into reviewers. All at a lower total price than these first few figures.

    That's a strong enough move.

Those are interesting designs, but the cool thing about the RotF designs is they're like nothing we've seen before. As a team you've got 8 pretty unique designs that form a combiner design we haven't seen before.

I just meant it's time to see if they can make theirs look better by comparison.

So far I think I'm going to get Overload, Long Haul and maybe Scavenger (unless we get a OS KO of the official) to scale with my Studio series collection and I think that's going to pretty much be it for me. Not really interested in completing Devastator anymore I just want cool looking movie Constructicons that can scale well enough with eachother.

I did speak to one of the guys from Hasbro at london comic con about SS overload. If its the humanoid one of the spider version. he kinda smiled and said \"You\'ll have to wait and see\". Obs doesn\'t confirm anything but im hoping its the spider one...

Yeah, they're the same character, champ, not quite apples and oranges. More like Granny Smiths to Golden Delicious. Especially since a lot of the discussion in this thread has been about which version people are going with.

I think Hasbro's Scavenger and Mixmaster look much better, so...

But, by all means, don't let me get in the way of you being a snarky a-hole ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Every time someone compares a premium 3P figure to a Hasbro/Takara mass retail product, God kills another puppy.

That would be taking away what makes them unique.

Lots of people like to complain about how Bayverse characters all look too similar, but I honestly feel that goes for many G1 styled characters.
    Am I alone in this?

Exactly. Their crazy proportions make them unique, and it's a shame their designs will most likely be ditched in favor of some G1 rehashes.

I heard that each limb will cost $50 which is a out standing price for these figures. Lets pray this rumor is true

Devil Savior is really going all out for it's Movieverse Devastator.

If their Hightower has better and longer robot mode arms than Hasbro's Studio Series Deluxe figure, that will make me fold and sell off the already released Studio Series Construction figures I currently own in lieu of the Devil Savior Movieverse Devastator.

Which by the way, is why I kept their original boxes intact.

They are out of scale :(

Yes, that Lego version is the most accurate representation of movie Devastator that we have gotten so far.

It's fine for what it is, but since the hasbro one was already confirmed two legged its a bit disappointing this isnt the crab version.
What the overall aesthetic of this figure makes me think is that they'd make a really good 3rd Party DOTM Devcon. Just look at the arms, they look pretty similar.

Well let's be honest, ROTF barely showed the constructicons so they're not gonna leave a huge impression on most people. They could have filled up the whole battlefield with them instead of those boring genericcons.
Hightower and Overload never even appeared in robot mode. Scrapper is only visible for split seconds. etc It was such a waste of cool designs.
