If the X Version is supposed to have a G1 color scheme why does it not include the green thighs? I preordered on TFS BC I m missing a Devastator but it seems strange to not include them.

Maybe this set includes the green thighs too? I would also like them to include a green barrel for Mixmaster.
Would be awesome to have these options. One could display it as a G1 toon, or G1 toy accurate.
The "P" version did came with 2 barrels, so who knows.

I ordered XTB aegis from the Chinese side of TFS Express a couple weeks ago and they charged customs when it came in. Which I thought was weird from China, but I guess because it’s really an English company.

how much were the fees, trying to decide what is the better option, taxes on 499 or customs + shipping on 390

Just checked the listing on Terry's TFS World and it is no longer able to be shipped to the US.

Aegis was like $72.99 and the customs charge was $22. I'm in Canada so it may be different elsewhere

The best part of this post is that this isn't every variation of these bots.

all depends on his shipping and customs charges. I am guessing the both of these will bring the total higher then $499 options that include shipping and no customs charges

I am also eagerly watching to see who will have the best deal on the C07X version. Maybe a black Friday deal to still come?????

I guess TFS is flexing whatever exclusivity they negotiated with Toyworld. I’ve sent Terry a message to see if he can clarify what the policy is exactly and perhaps the reasons why. On a related note, I paid off my invoice at TCP for FT-16M, and while doing so I asked about them carrying TW-C07X, and their response was “we plan to offer this once it is made available to offer by Toyworld”. This leads me to believe that whatever exclusivity TFS has negotiated with Toyworld has a fixed time period, after which it will go out to other North American retailers. The exclusivity doesn’t appear to extend to the rest of the world, as Terry’s shipping ban is only for the US, and Toyworld has been actively promoting this model to at least the Chinese market on their Weibo. The main takeaway for me at this point is I won’t like it if retailers start negotiating exclusivity periods for figures I want; I wouldn’t like being forced to shop where I’d rather not, and buyers are going to wise up quickly anyway if/once they see that it will eventually make its way to their preferred retailer anyway.

I don’t believe it’s listed as C07X; when Terry first floated the preorder, he mentioned the improved tracks and mixer barrel but it came across as just a minor retooling of some small components and he listed it as a regular CW07.

Seems like ShowZ isn’t getting any though, unless they just didn’t want to say it was timed or maybe they aren’t getting any because a lot of Americans buy through ShowZ? Either way, yeah the exclusive to one place thing is gross

Yeah, I can’t quite reconcile why ShowZ isn’t getting it. Maybe they didn’t want to play ball with the region/retailer exclusivity? Their explanation seemed to lean more towards the “Toyworld won’t give us any, but we sell a lot of units of a lot of other stuff, so it’s not a big deal to us” route.

Shipping for me on the east coast would be $92. I'd only be saving ~$20 off the TFSource price.

Has anybody custom painted the clear version?

I had the green weathered version on pre-order but had to ask for a refund because my PayPal protection was almost at the 180 day mark. Just wondering if I should just take my green clear version and have it painted?

Either that or sell it... Got too many Devastators...

Not other combiner has this amount of repaints! MP-10 repaints are just insane too, but I have never seen that on a combiner.

The seekers not so much, because they are like the ninjas from MK, they are supposed to be like that, still the same mould but the repaints have a "justification".
