Cliff be tiiiiiny! I'm suddenly not sure if I'd be willing to cough up 20 bucks for that. On the plus side, Hoist is a lot bigger than I though he'd be. I'll be getting him and Ironworks. EDIT: Just noticed that Hoist's hood is a different shade of green than the rest of his body. r/mildlyinfuriating
I know its probably heresy but I\'m getting more enjoyment and happieness out of the current mainline stuff than I have been out of the Masterpiece figures in years. This definitely appears like its going to keep that trend for me.
not liking all that empty space in Cliffjumper\'s box maybe they should have included a heftier accessory, blast effects, or something to justify what looks like a smaller price-point toy in a larger price-point box... (maybe the inevitable Bumblebee will come with his helicopter backpack)
I wish they would mold the figures "clean" then add the "battle damage" on a sticker sheet so we could decide *if* and *where* we want battle damage.
Okay, so a couple things to note here. 1. I\'m still super excited for Cliffjumper. He\'s going to be a definite buy from me. Everything about him rules. 2. Wheeljack looks a bit odd, but I\'ll probably still get him. He easily has one of the best alt-modes I\'ve seen from this line so far. I wish he came with more weapons though. He needs his shoulder cannon. 3. I really like the look of these new micromaster. I\'m glad to see that good robots are the priority instead of lackluster weapon modes. 4. Ironworks has a fully red face now, and I don\'t know how to feel about this. 5. Hoist has some Seige Battle damage which is interesting. Anyway, I\'m just glad Cliffjumper is getting a toy that looks this good. I\'m glad he\'s a small size.
I'ma let you finish, but if we get the Battlechargers out of this mold before we get a Hubcap out of this mold I will produce enough salt to poison the oceans and ruin the groundwater. Sounds like someone needs to come home to BIG DADDY!
I'm a little weirded out Cliffjumper's rocket launcher plugs on his arm. they all look solid that said.
Really unhappy with Hoist and Cliffjumper. Glad I didn\'t jump straight into the pre-ordering. The discoloured green really puts me off Hoist and Cliffjumper is just not worth the deluxe price point, its way too small. Wheeljack on the other hand, I am glad I did pre-order him.
I hate that design for Wheeljack, or any design that goes for an “angular” take. The charm of Wheeljack’s head has always been how odd and retro it is. The big, round mouth plate that’s more of a faceplate the way it covers his whole lower head, the boxy little ears, his three... things on his head just jutting out. It’s a classic, retro look that loses something when you try and modernize it.
Coming from Siege, This new line isn't doing it for me, except for Prime and maybe Cliffjumper. Wheeljack just looks off amd Hoist's orange parts are just a mess.
they all look cool. Especially Ironworks..wow. Weird personal trait...everytime I see a new pic, or cool pic of wheeljack.. I start rapping the old Esham rap "Oh jackie, jackie babay!, Oh jackie jackie jackie Babay!!.." I know..im screwed
Why does Hasbro suck so bad at showing off the accessories in this line? Cliffjumper is tiny, but he has a big gun and skids, so naturally they put it in the bubble... behind the nameplate. They could have put it over his head to fill the void, but nooooooo! I am sad that I hadn't noticed Hoist's fist sticking out of his altmode before, hopefully we can at least turn that around to not see the fingers. These box colors look like an underwater adventure.
It certainly lacks that refinement Siege had right out of the gate, doesn’t it? it almost feels like this line was designed first.
For those that are saying that things look odd about the figures compare these images with the renders. They're not only transformed incorrectly, the poses and the angles are just bad. This should be a common practice for everyone by now. I guess Hasbro saves money on photographers and applies it to hiring excellent toy designers.
So far, the only Earthrise Deluxe I'm getting is Wheeljack. The others 3: Hoist: Never liked how his (and Trailbreaker's) robot mode looked. (Doesn't really mattered, I purchased the older Generations figure of the two a week ago.) Cliffjumper: Was planning on buying him, but the package shot may me see he's going to be too small for my personal taste. (The 1st Edition TFP Cliffy will continue to serve as the Cliffjumper of my collection.) Ironworks: I have no interest in the figure what so ever.
