If what they say about the quality is true I don't mind paying $150 for three complete combiners.

 

Oh I bought 2 full combiners, hot spot, 2 red jets, both helicopters, both blue jets plus an extra air raid and a regular air raid.

 

If you use the Red Defensor/Blue jet limbs and maybe switch Hot Spot with Onslaught, you could get a pretty good TFCC Nexus Prime.

 

  That's brilliant!

 

There is actually some shapeways parts for for that mold to make them into nexus prime. This idea is pretty fantastic.

You, my friend, have excellent taste in combiners.

I really dig that Optimus Maximus. It almost (and I can't stress almost enough) makes me want to build one. But I just can't afford to track down Prime, plus four new limbs and the upgrade kit. But I will definitely file it away under "something to do if I've got cash laying around and nothing else to buy" for the future.

 

I appreciate the praise. I can say with confidence that prime is one of my favorites if not the favorite combiner just because he has such amazing form and colors. Granted he is wearing about 5 upgrades if i wanted to be technical (beelzeboss shoulders, snd sword, tdw abominus gun, and the PE parts). But i tried my hardest to give prime the grandeur he deserves despite how odd his voyager is.

Oh, 6 upgrades if you count the idw trailer.

My TDW Bruticus kit came in the mail today. Was kind of a pain to install but the results are surely worth it. I accidentally over sanded one of the pegs on one of the feet, making it an ever so slightly loose fit, which coupled with my loose holed swindle means I have to wait for the polish to dry on the peg before I can take pictures of him for on here. I've decided to upgrade Defensor next, since his kit is starting to go up in price and the US version is now about the same price as the JP version I'll just get that one.

 

Whoo. Those look darn fine. Victorian and Starscream are especially poppin.

 

There's always the lighter trick for skinny pegs... hold the flame over it enough to where it slightly swells (no bubbles, that's burning) and the blow on it, rapidly cooling it.

Works on 100% of my projects.

 

Galvatronus is amazing with Brunt as cannon and Motormaster torso is saved by that kit,what a pity it's so rare,Bruticus one seems easier to find,anyway great collection.

Bruticus rifle,darker face and cannons are amazing upgrades and great pic too for Shockwave giving him orders!
