Ya'll already know the Ascenticons and Rise are just going to be looking like this in the background while Megatron rips out Shockwaves innards.
I kinda like her Cyberverse characterization. It's at least somewhat nuanced as she's this sort of harried, put upon, but brutish and hamfisted woman. It's not an uncommon archetype these days (Steven Universe has done it better) but it suits her better than the one billionth sassy, sarcastic Decepticon female. More importantly, the perspective in that cover makes her look like she's got one long-ass gorilla arm. Also, more Shockwave/Megatron conflict. #Yay. Good to see we're treading new, innovative ground, IDW2.
Yeah, Cyberverse is about the first time she's got personality other than snarky female Seeker. I'd be fine with IDW keeping her Cyberverse personality and building upon it.
I'd be OK with snarky female seeker, but snarky female bad guy is such a worn out trope that it's got holes in it and is being used as a dog blanket. Every female Decepticon/Transformer bad guy is a snarker, because apparently being sick of everyone else's shit regardless of whether it's warranted or not is "evil". Well, except for Strika.
Slipstream was namedropped earlier but still excited to see her here since she wasn't in the old IDW continuity.
