I\'ve been wanting this guy for EVER now!! Loved the promo shots of him and think this is amazing. Would love to see a \"Beast Wars\" Transformers using the G1 cast. Shockwave as a snake, Prowl as an owl, get it, Punch/ Counterpunch as a wolf/ sheep. So much fun to be had.

But I too would have expected a bee.

Honestly, I thought these designs were meant to be a Transformers x Zoids type crossover, so there are both beetle-type (to reference his common alt-mode) and even killer wasp-type (to reference his namesake) Zoids that would better fit. I love this mold and plan to pick it up, but the design just feels better suited for Tigertracks or Sunstreaker.

perfect effect (t-beast leo prime/lioconvoy is roughly based on the leonidas design), generation toys, dx9 and transform element have all done t-beast figures. i think there was another that was working on wolf wheeljack and another figure but cant remember what company that was

As for Bumblebee not being a bee, I looked up T-Beasts and it's clear that in the comic they're based on their Beast Wars counterparts, making 'Bee here more of a Cheetor reimagining, at least in terms of design. I think he looks great. I mean I don't want him; I pretty much only like Transformers that are robots in disguise, not human-shaped robots that turn into other-animal-shaped robots. But it still looks like a cool fun toy.

 

Yeah, and that’s a mold that I probably would’ve bought in red, yellow, blue, and black versions. They could’ve really milked it.

I'm completely unfamiliar with the source material on which this is apparently based and I don't have time to read 12 pages of comments like I usually do.
But I think this looks great and if the price is right I'm definitely getting one.

Edit: Assuming the robot mode looks cool.  

 

Trust me, I know. I had all of my suggestions for remold ideas removed by the Mods in the RedBull thread after someone complained about there being not enough Cow pictures to go with them.

Shrug? Other than the fact GT's been so focused on their other products with a guaranteed "Prints Money" sticker of approval.
For all we know it is likely canceled, like Fansprojects Function X Hardhead.
