I hope they aren’t. I’d really love a Deep Cover redeco from Sidesiwpe. That mould is awesome but I’d like it in black more. Those drills are cool.

 

Why they went with Red Alert first is beyond me. Alot of people are thirsting for Deep Cover , could have been a easy cash grab

 

Well it gets both moulds done right away.

 

Whats the consensus on the bugs? I need a set of Insecticons and these or the MMC. FT isn't going to happen. These look more like the cartoon version I want.

 

I like them. Yhey feel a bit lightweight and hollow, but don't look it. They present well with Masterpieces.

 

The BC Bugs are really fun bots to have on your desk to fiddle with. Nothing feels like it's going to break.

We definitely warned 'em that pivoting to their own designs was likely the death of their company. Glad they're still around in some form, but I don't have high hopes that they'll be able to compete with the likes of XTB and FT any longer.

 

I think they can honestly, if they do the deluxe Insecticons, Runabout/Runamuck they'll make bank.

They just need to hit characters other companies haven't done yet as hard as they can without sparing the paint and sculpt work.

 

I’d be down for their original characters if the designs weren’t boring as hell.

Make something cool looking and well built and I’ll support it. Theirs just resembled something like gobots or the shitty offbrands at a discount store.

They should’ve looked towards Steel Core for a better idea on how to do original characters right.

 

It would be great if Badcube made a decent MP Perceptor

 

First of all, BadCube needs to simplify their engineering.

FT already has the complicated transformation market cornered.

Yeah but I'll at least say, as complicated as BC's stuff could be, it always DID go together. You never had to do silly stuff like force parts past stuff or have issues with it not working right and destroying it's paint or itself. They might have been crazy but it was madness with a method.

 

I have always been a fan of theirs...some of their stuff is awful to transform (brawney), but for the most part all their stuff is solidly built and looks the part.

 

i can say that Captain Huffy is well built, the transform feels really well engineered, only thing is that it looks plain in some areas, like the chest and head, basicly the orange areas could have used some additional detailing and paint apps

Yep, Perceptor and Runabros is something Badcube should definitely try.

 

FT absolutely won 3rd party wars with X-transbots in 2nd place. With the release of Brawny and Warpath, Badcube will be one step closer to perishing from peoples vocabulary and shelves........when FT does Gears and Huffer that will be the nail in Badcube's coffin.
