I like sky-lynx, finally, I hope to get a real dual bot Sky-lynx, from a space ship to "Cat" and "Bird" maybe and a base mode too! Don't understand how they can make a voyager from Quintessor....I never see them transformed...I'm scared lol

I'm so glad I didn't bother with CW a Sky Lynx if this is true.

 

I still wish I got it because it looked fun, but now I'm not so upset about missing out.

I just like Sky Lynx and I'm glad he's getting more love.

Haha! When we got the hint that the commander would complement omegas supreme and I said it had to be the space shuttle so Sky Linx, where are my naysayers now? There was too much information available to be anything but Sky Lynx.

After Jabba's Sail Barge came out, Hasbro released a few adjacent sets (skiff guards and skiff). A full on Quintesson set - Sharkticons, Allicons, etc., would be a fantastic companion to Unicron and the movie, generally.

Isn't that what most people hoped (prayed) was the case with the latest MP Optimus Prime, but wasn't?

 

Commander Class Sky Lynx sounds good and I like it,but everyone saying Commander class Star Saber and Deathsaurs matter the fact I don't won't those two as Commander class at all I rather have them be Leader class now if we also get Victory Leo that is either a Voyager or Leader class you can combine both Star Saber and Victory Leo into Victory Saber who can be a Commander.

 

Ratchet will be as tall as MPM Ironhide. Starscream has to be barely shorter than Megatron (which is already huge).

Plus, MP44's price was leaked directly from Takara listings. These are just Taobao fillers

 

Oh, I’m sure it’ll be a new mold. I’m mostly spitballing (and also somewhat curbing my expectations) because the original mold is still pretty good, even by today’s standards.

 

Even the original 80s advert glosses over what it is, Optimus Prime says he combines from bird and lynx to form Sky Lynx, but doesn’t actually say ‘what’ Sky Lynx is!

I mean, I like Sky Lynx but even as a kid I could never figure out the point of him having two modes that were almost the same, it’s like you have his main Dinobird ‘thing’ that just turns into the same thing with stumpier legs & a spare box that turned into a cat which you hardly saw.

I understand how Hasbro wants all toys to have their ‘legacy’ gimmicks, but I can’t help thinking Sky Lynx as a character would work better as a giant triple changer rather than a Duocon with 2 almost identical modes.

Still, maybe two separate toys that combine will look better than one giant toy that may have to make sacrifices somewhere?

 

Awesome! I'm really hoping the Quintesson has like, five Headmaster faces that can be removed from the body of the figure. Always thought that that was a missed opportunity there.

 

Indeed, I have CW Sky Lynx AND MMC's Sky Lynx and I'm still looking forward to this.

CW Sky Lynx is for combining. MMC's Sky Lynx is for being super big and with an intricate transformation for the shuttle half. Earthrise Sky Lynx will be for TF interactivity and a quicker transformation.

Also am super glad the MPMs are not ending. Was worried for a few months there.
